I love this idea as well.
Usually, by the time you’ve hit exalted with a faction, you’ve got better gear than what they had on offer for revered and exalted players.

Yeah, I remember those. But I was more of thinking like, appearances that can be used across any armor type, and can be used on any characters once it is unlocked. But if it is like a an appearance on the Alliance faction, then only those on the Alliance faction can transmog into it, and visaversa for the Horde.
