I don’t know how a 20 level expansion would go over at this time.

Unless levelling content and itemization was a thing, it’d be hot garbage.

It is also really weird playing a 16 year older version of my hunter and feeling the class is deeper and better designed then the current one.

Inferior in which way? Definitely not in community, RPG, or character progression. Retail has QoL while classic has gameplay.

While leveling up my LW/Skinning I ran into a bunch of the same paladins in a couple different zones yesterday. I helped them do some quests and joked that I was stalking them. You just don’t get those interactions in retail anymore. Also ran into the same low level alliance shamans leveling. Imagining being out in the world and actually seeing the same people.

Would be nice if FF14 players would stop telling us how their game is better than ours and would be nice if classic players would stop telling us how their game is better than ours.

Both of those things get tiresome.

I would love to know the reasoning behind the level squish. The power squish i get, but why levels?
