Just A Quick PSA About Nazjatar Bodyguards

I heard you got a mount for getting Rank 20 with your bodyguard in Nazjatar. I was leveling Bladesman Inowari and I almost had him to 20 before Wowhead came out with the Bodyguard guide.

Apparently, you only get the mount from getting Akana and Neri Sharpfin to rank 20. The other two give pets or toys.

Looks like I have to trudge through leveling another bodyguard. I guess we had to do that anyways for the meta ;/

have to level them anyways if you want to get the essence linked to them to rank 4. only need to level them all to 30. easy enough. right? we’re having fun. right?

I got Inowari to 20 yesterday and got a crab pet that costs 40 pearls otherwise.

I’ll get them all to 30 eventually.

I have Vim up to level 17 but am now working on the other one. I read
you have to level them all up to open up more quests.

More quests = more pearls.

Can’t say I’m looking forward to the other followers. Losing the +30% crit dmg from Strategic Sense (lvl 15 Neri) is going to be painful. Especially having to start out with a rather useless Poen at lower levels. Not looking forward to Vim at all.

^ This, Akana is the best end-game one because of Son of Gral or Blessing of Gral, the 50% dmg increase, he becomes 20-25ish%+ of my dmg at combat and my gear is pretty high up there

So I need to start all over with my bodyguard to get the mount I thought looked the coolest this patch? Neato. I’ll be riding that thing in 21 days.

I think the Alliance version looks better than the Horde :frowning:

Hopefully the paragon cache version is the best.
