I’m pretty casual so I don’t usually do raids but I like to keep up with the story. Did I miss a cut scene somewhere or did we just decide to ignore that giant sword stabbed into Azeroth? Just wondering…I feel like it became less a priority the farther into the expansion we went

The Sword served it’s purpose of depowering the player after Legion and kicking off BFA.
Past that it doesn’t exist.

The sword might be the plot point in a future expansion. Maybe it will sprout limbs and become a raid boss.

I think the main confusion is it seemed like at the start of BFA Sargeras’ sword was going to be a huge plot point, but we began the expansion at the sword and ended it there…and that was it. It gave us power, took the power away, then we said, “Oh well, least we tried,” and left lol

It is just a sword… It is really a job for scrappers, not champions. Maybe there can be a little war to decide who gets the rights to all that scrap metal.

That sword will give us trouble in the future, I bet something really bad will come out of that hole… but you know, not everyone will deal with the sword, but everyone deals with death, which is f*** up right now, so… CHOICES lol

Look… Azeroth got a belly button piecing. She is a big girl, we just let her do her thing. Also it acts like a hitch to pull her away from the buffet.

I bet Sargeras will come back as a good guy at some point and take back his sword that or the Jailer is gonna take it or some other character, if you look at the animation of the sword it still look active maybe its still doing something to Azeroth maybe keeping her uncorrupted or stopping her from awakening.
Apparently there is a cutscene after you defeat N’Zoth, saying all the wounds are healed… but the giant sword is still there. I have a feeling that said sword will come into play next expansion.
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen that one on YouTube. I guess I’ll check it out again because I missed the wounds healed part.

You ever pull out a knife after a stab wound? Basic tip, leave that in, or bleed out fast.
