Just a friendly reminder

WINNERS WIN, LOSERS LOSE!!!

If you can’t achieve the rewards that you want in game, and you’ve given up trying and/or are resorting to dear diary and/or cry posting on the forums (instead of locking in and figuring out what you need to do to overcome the obstacles in front of you), then you’re a loser (at least until you change your mindset).

If you don’t want to buy the 90 dollar mount, that’s cool, and I don’t blame you.

If you can’t afford to buy the 90 dollar mount but you really want it, you’re a loser (the thought of spending 90 dollars on one of your biggest hobbies/time sinks shouldn’t ruin your day/week, and it certainly shouldn’t merit running to the forums to cry about how MSFT executives are fueling their yachts on your dime).

Be a winner, not a loser

I don’t mind spending $90 on a mount but I’m not spending $90 on a meme

I 100% get this, and I think many will feel the same way.

I’m mainly referencing those that want the mount and can’t afford it.

Being a loser has nothing to do with income btw (imo). E.g., if you make 500 dollars a month and are happy with your life, can afford everything you want, etc., you’re not a loser. On the other hand, if you make 20,000 dollars a month and you hate your life, can’t afford everything you want, etc., then you’re a loser only IF you have given up in terms of doing what it takes to afford the things you want.

Lol, the defensive projection is real

I’m not sorry that the truth triggered you guys :sunglasses: (you’ll thank me one day for speaking it)

Plenty of people in the world want things they can’t have. That doesn’t make them a loser.

This is a child.
The account is in the parents name, and parental controls are enabled on it.

Yall remember WINNERS WIN, LOSERS LOSE back when it was actually good? Now they’re just trying to monetize it all. Smh. I pay a sub for this game already.

If you want something, e.g., a lambo, and you can’t afford it currently, then no, it doesn’t make you a loser. As long as you haven’t given up and are actively working towards getting what you want, then you’re not a loser.

If you’ve given up though and have just accepted that “I can’t have a lambo regardless of what I do”, then yes, you are a loser.

It’s all about mindset.

Try not to narrow what the term loser stereotypically entails [e.g., low or no income, overweight, no friends, no partner, etc.]. I’m using it in the broadest sense, in that if you fail to achieve your own X, Y, Z goals, then you are by definition, a loser (if you’ve given up/stopped trying).

You’re never a loser if you’re still in the fight/trying to improve.

The same is applicable to wow arena ratings. For example:

If your goal is 1800 and you do whatever it takes to achieve it, then you are a winner.

If your goal is rank 1 and you give up after gladiator, then you are a loser.

If you are stuck at X rating, let’s say 1500, and your goal is 1600 for the tier piece, if you stop making efforts towards improving so that you can eventually get to 1600, and instead just run to the forums to complain about how life is unfair because your spec isn’t S tier (e.g., lol most warriors), then you are a loser.

It’s actually a bit alarming how many people are taking the original post so personally (rather than just recognizing it as truth and agreeing).
