Too nice of a mount to lock behind a .2% drop rate.

Real shame tbh

Should have put it in the in game store so everyone could have one

I know this might be shocking, but there’s a lot of mounts “locked” behind a .2% drop rate. I don’t see how Mechagon is any different or why it should be any different. If it dropped on the first kill, there would be no point to be there.

It’s a very unique mount

I recommend instead farming for the Mechacycle Model W from the Mecha-done achievement. It is the exact same model with slightly different colors. It’s not unique when there’s literally a second mount with the same model.

Oh thanks. Ya good idea

Name some mounts locked between a .2% drop rate. There are some, but not as many as you think. But just for fun, name some.

Okay, just for you I’ll list some rare mounts.

Rivendare’s Charger (0.8% from Lord Rivendare)
Invincible (1% from Lich King)
Son of Galleon (Average of 500+ kills from Galleon)
Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent (Average of 1000+ kills from Sha of Anger)
Thundering Cobalt Cloud Serpent (Around 0.06% from Nalak)
Experiment 12-B (0.5-1.2% from Ultraxion)
Thundering Onyx Cloud Serpent (0.9% from Huolon)
Mimiron’s Head (1% from Yogg-Saron)
Drake of the North Wind (0.7% from Altairus)
Vitreous Stone Drake (0.7% from Slabhide)
Swift Zulian Panther (0.8% from High Priestess Kilnara)
Armored Razzashi Raptor (0.7% from Bloodlord Mandokir)
Blue Proto-Drake (0.9% from Skadi the Ruthless)

There’s some others with slightly higher drop rates (like 1-2%) that I haven’t included. I never said how many “a lot” was, but there’s still several. The drop rates for Mechagon are also probably low because of the fact it’s new max level content. Just because you don’t have the mount doesn’t mean the drop rate needs to be higher. Rare things are rare.

You have an alternative(and WAY better polished one):

It’s not “unique” at all when you can get this one instead.

I mentioned in another thread, there is no way the reported rates are accurate.

Camping Harvester, joined a group with 6 people in it. Mount on my drifter, only one person in the group did not have the mount. We started doing countdowns to sync the mountspecial and stuff…

It is way more common than reported early wowhead drop-rate data is incomplete.

If it is this common two weeks into the patch… it is going to be one of those mounts everyone has in no time.

So is every mount locked behind a .2% drop rate, why is this suddenly an issue?

None of those are .2%, lol

Oh no, a rare mount is rare.

Go earn something and do the Mechagon meta achievement for the same mount model with a different color.

They also have years of user data behind them to accurately depict their drop rates, instead of two weeks of kills. Just saying.

Ok Jelboop, i can see your pet battle team is the same, no need to sockpuppet on a different character lmao.

The mechadone achieve mount looks 10 times better anyway.

He has 254 pets, I have 760. Are you blind?

I actually like the Rusty version better. I get more of a steampunk vibe from it.

which is why it has such a low drop chance :dancer:

1% is the usual drop rate, and I’d absolutely argue it’s a fair one. Still very low, but in line with most (not all, I know!) other drops.
Edit; It is fair, too, to remember 2 weeks in the WoWHead drop count is still settling. (Also, no hostility towards you! :slightly_smiling_face:)
