Turn Off WM

I don’t think adding myself into the problem solves it

It’s annoying, I’m all for having a few things to abuse in world pvp but this stuff just makes it beyond annoying

I feel like you only find it annoying because you’re melee.

A lot of us casters feel some melees are annoying because of all the tools readily available to them to catch us. And if there’s multiple melees on us? Well, good luck for us getting a cast in. Melees don’t have to worry about being interrupted, only stunned and maybe occasionally disarmed (not many classes have a disarm though, and have to be specced into).

Having something to get some distance away from melees is an amazing help.

Completely different issue my dude

It isn’t lol. You just don’t like it because you’re melee.

I don’t like it because it’s stupid for everyone to have

you’re aware how hard it makes me to kill and how easy it makes it to kill anyone that doesnt have them correct?

Sounds like a melee issue honestly. I don’t have any problems killing others also using the pods. But yes, it does make me harder to kill. It’s a fun item, it can only be used in Nazjatar, I don’t get the frustration.

Because you shouldnt be having to grab a buff to be able to do world pvp

imagine if their was an item that let you shadow step to targets on 5 second cooldown, do you think that would be balanced if you could also get it

It’s in one zone. It’s no different than Argus where you had certain abilities that made you stronger. I remember back in Legion there was a variety of abilities you could choose from on Argus, one being a passive heal every few seconds with an instant bres and another that would make you vanish, drop combat, and then increase damage by 100% for 4 seconds.

The most broken one was the one that increased your damage by 100%. Yes it was broken, but it was just one zone. And you had to unlock those abilities through different means.

The pods can only be used in Nazjatar and not everyone goes to Nazjatar for WPvP. There’s many zones other than just Nazjatar.

Edit: Another example could be Timeless Isles. There was the Timeless Nutrition which increased stats by 5% for 10 minutes, Fire Poppy which restored percentage of health every few seconds, and then the Shrine buffs that granted you really good combat buffs. There’s also the items that dropped from the mobs, which scaled with level.

Try fighting against an opponent who had these buffs while you didn’t. You’re at a major disadvantage. But guess what? It’s one zone, and you could easily get the buffs too. It’s not really an issue.

Don’t forget tanaan jungle and taking a swim in the fel.

I think if they just made the jumping mechanic be effected by snares, it would be enough to solve the issue with them. The problem is that they make the person completely ignore any snare effects, so they can just bounce around while attacking you from afar.
