This quest is the worst part of BFA. Out of all the bad decisions and terrible design this expansion has thrown at us, this quest is by far the worst of them.
I wish I was exaggerating.

this quest is awful.
I think blizzard has been tracking us for the last few years and has finally realized that most of the players spend alot of their free time running in circles in capital cities and finally made a quest that makes us just run in circles for hours. If you just stand there and watch you literally see 30 people running in circles over and over and over.
If it was just a jumping quest it wouldnt be that bad. But whatever this abomination of gaming is should just go away. I almost had it once but it seems like every time i jump something different happens. Nothing is consistent.
They made a world quest just for these people, its great!
Yeah this is total garbage.
How did this even pass QA
I’ve fallen through the first platform that you jump through almost half the time. Like, directly passed right through the center of it and just hit the ground and didnt bounce.
I thought I was crazy at first but then I stood directly under it and angled my camera toward the ground so I could watch where other people land, and sure enough almost half the people just went right through it as well.
My best attempt was about 3 jellyfish away from the end and I passed through a jellyfish, was about ten feet directly under it, then bounced and missed the next platform.
This entire world quest needs to be scrapped and just give up a jumping puzzle where we manually hop from platform to platform. It would be infinitely less infuriating than this.
this entire thing is garbage.
the bounces seem wildly inaccuarate one to the next, one launches me to the front facing edge of the first jelly while the other launches me well over it.
we’re supposed to aim with the camera but somehow even with the camera lining up our angle we still somehow land to either side of it well off from it.
having to aim for jelly C while you’re mid-bounce for jelly B makes it so you have maybe a half second and you’re just praying that you aimed for jelly C right when you jumped for B.
aiming with the camera with this rapid movement also throws depth perception out the window so again, you look one way but somehow wind up like thirty feet to the side.
And say you actually manage to get the aim right-- or enough that you hit the edge of a jelly and have to deal with the wildly nerfed arc of bounce? Well that’s when you not only go just under the jelly, but often at least hit a tendril which sends you bouncing uselessly as if just to taunt you, making it take longer to run back up the hill and around all the obstacles to the top, getting your aim up through the warlock portals littering the ground to try again.
And seeing as it starts at inaccurate when you touch the purple ring, sometimes when you touch the first purple pixel of the outside circle, sometimes the center, you have no idea if your first jump is going to be wildly set back a few feet or not.
And that’s between dealing with all the trash mobs or the elite that spawns right by the hill showering everyone with an AoE.
Then again you can play demon hunter and just double-jump/glide your way through, no other class features from the warrior stomp to the goblin rocket boots work though.
Maybe it can be cheesed when we get flying
I’m ready to take the turtles back to the water.
Oh, most definately. they didn’t change the Legion orb things or anything like that for flying. unless they decide to make that area a no-fly bubble while the WQ is active.
You’re making the bold and possibly unwarranted assumption that they do QA.
I can’t do it so there for it should be removed
Please don’t fix this today Blizzard, all this forum talk got me really excited to try it LOL!
It’s not that. It’s just I get to the platform, fall through and then bounce back up and miss the next one.
So yeah it’s not working.
When it didn’t bug, I actually enjoyed this WQ. Needs a few tweaks though.
I agree it needs to be fixed but I also know when i went out there, there were at least 40 people trying to do it…there was just enough lag, (not to mention the frequent lag spikes since patch) that i was having issues myself. i think i will give it a shot later in the early hours when the area has lightened up.
But once things are smoothen out i think we will find it a little more fun.
I think this may be the worst quest design I’ve ever seen in this game
Didn’t think it would be possible to top the garbage that was “Like the Wind” but they pulled it off
Well done, Blizzard.
Well when the majority of your beta testers are people who are paying you to play the game your not going to get quality feedback. There was once a time where a game company actually paid people to beta test there games. They actually took time to look for problems and reported them instead of just getting a head start on content like they do now.
It’s really poorly designed. Latency and movement speed all has an effect at how far you launch yourself.
How this abomination got approved in the Beta???
