Jukebox please?

We have jukebox in the garrison. How about one for the house for visitors? Play your favorite music when they come in. The music will be those already in games like the zone music. Engineer can make the jukeboxes, tailor, LW, and BS can make skin to change the look of the jukebox, alchemy and JC for the light and bubble effect, and scribes can write out music sheets to add to the jukebox music collection.

The trailer shows one, so fingers crossed. This is such a cool thing. I know addons can do it, but it’s just not the same as having a record collection and immersion.

Sure like to know if it’s being implemented or how it will be made

Yes, or at least music list you can play from the top utility bar. I hate the interior home music…. lol it’s too whimsical, I need the OG theme music, or OG NE Teldrassil music.

This would be very neat. Cause this current music, after lots of hours decorating is starting a lot like music to hang yourself to.

For those that use addons Curseforge has one called HousingMusic. I’ve only messed with it a little bit. It’s new and still has a ways to go. Anyone who comes in to your house also needs to have it or they’ll only hear the regular music from my understanding.

Housing Music is fantastic! It indeed shares and plays custom playlists automatically if both people use the addon and don’t disable those settings. It’s a nice workaround until an official solution comes.

Check out Housing Music on CurseForge. Every song/track in WoW. Maybe someday we’ll be able to upload our own music.

Was just about to make a post about this. Would really love to change the music in my house.

Can confirm this as an option. I use it so my night elf house has night elf music. The only downside is it doesn’t differentiate between horde and alliance, so your music might be off between the two if you want a specific theme.

But yes, jukebox please!

This is such a common request by us that it must be coming to us in time. Since we (really really) want it, maybe it will be assigned to some future patch.

I don’t know about you guys, but when I’m building a big window treatment, I have Bolero in my head. It happens every time. Do you know this song?

I really liked the way FFXIV handled housing music.

You had the actual music item to place in your house wherever you wanted it. There were several versions available to match your theme- you could go for something as small as a music box that you could put on a dresser for table all the way up to a big ā€˜ol jukebox that was a furniture piece all on its own. You clicked on the music item to change the music.

As far as the music you had to acquire that by playing the game. In most dungeons the last boss had a chance to drop the music for that dungeon, finishing most zones would give you access to that zone’s music, rep from each city’s leader faction would get you the city music, and there were even a few uniques from crafting.

I would really like to see them copy that. Some days I need something creepy like Waycrest Manor or Karazhan. On other days I might want some soothing Grizzly Hills, Ashenvale, or old Dalaran.

Have wanted to move my garrison jukebox to my house. Would be willing to build a new one and gathering new song rolls from around the world as well.

Had to find the right video but the ā€œHousing Early Access Trailerā€ on YouTube does show a Jukebox outside along with the character being followed holding a fish. Hopefully this means they’re aware of the desire and working on things. One thing I’ve noted before is that they are getting to the things that people want but it’s a very long list.

Bolero as in Ravel?

Anyway, I stayed a bit more in theme with Housing Music. Just went with the Mereldar ambience.

How about same garrison jukebox but placeable as housing decor? Recycle the same asset.

Yeah. Ravel’s Bolero – it builds right along with me. Thanks for the link but the music is just in my head. Good link!

This could work, although I’d prefer something more like a Victor phonograph.

It’s one of those pieces that everyone has heard, but all too many people wouldn’t be able to name. Kind of like O Fortuna or Sabre Dance.

I love ā€œWorld Soul Cradleā€ in Haranir. I play it sometimes on our speaker system, it’s a fantastic piece. Jukebox to play it in the house would be amazing!!
