Judgement of Justice in Vanilla WoW

Didn’t judging justice on vanilla wow (Paladin abilities) reduce a players movement speed to 100% (even if you had boots enchant for 8% you would still go down to 100%) so pallies could actually fight mounted ppl/runners instead of them just running away. I used to play a Pally in vanilla wow and this is one thing among many things that Pservers always seemed to get wrong.

This was something that didn’t come in until TBC for Seal of Justice when judged.

Originally when judged, Seal of Justice would just prevent the enemy from fleeing which was entirely about NPC’s “X attempts to run away in fear” and had no effect on players.

OK tyvm!!!

FANDOM Vanilla WoW Wiki dont say this!!!

PvE
This judgement is very useful to stop runners, especially in tight areas such as in the Scarlet Monastery.

PvP
The movement speed limit of the judged player is not considered a movement impairing effect, meaning acts such as shape shifting and Hand of Freedom will not remove it. This prevents a player from going above their normal run speed. Thus, for instance, a Druid who is affected by the Judgement will not go any faster than the normal run speed if they shift into Travel Form, a Rogue who uses Sprint will receive no speed boost, and any player riding a mount will receive no speed bonus from doing so.

Any Blue Post can confirm?

That wiki is mostly based on private servers. In Vanilla the seal did not effect players, this was technically changed in TBC prepatch but still.

Private servers are based on vanilla! again!!! any blue post can confirm the true?
Becase GM say me before about this skill had pvp effect on vanilla, but no with classic, and this is not a bug!
Sounds like WoW Classic is not a true vanilla? Or paladins have nerfed?
Need a Blue post to confirm if the information of Vanilla WoW wiki is wrong!
