I could say before Ret rework maybe you saw a whole lot of rogues and destruction locks but at least it felt like there was some counter play & certain comps that played well into the more op classes. There was a lot of class variety and it felt like you saw a lot of class representation.
Now it’s just Ret & (insert class) 2v2, 3v3, or solo shuffle with atleast 2 rets in every round. Why did blizzard unbalance the game like this?
Your class pair really well with ret, you should capitalize on this and start the climb babe.
That is true, & I play a lot of different classes besides hunter & now they all feel obsolete. I guess I’m just bored of the meta.
Even though that’s the case playing against nothing but ret x or ret x x isn’t a fun meta at all and if you’ve done any PvP you’ll clearly see that’s all there is.
Yea that’s what I’m saying. Before 10.0.7 I did a lot of 2v2 & I was constantly queuing into every single combination of spec’s. It felt fresh and somewhat balanced.

It’s absolutely disgusting. The season is objectively less balanced after multiple tuning patches than it was to begin with.

yesterday I levelled a belf Holy Pally cuz I had time and really love Zandalar, was bored because I refuse to queue on my main atm… and quickly succumbed and specced Ret. It’s unlikely i’ll finish levelling let alone PvP on it because I barely play alts; but, for the sake of the experiment it now became clear to me why they are so OP rn: Wings on 1 m cd lasting 20 sec, 2 walls on a 1 min cd, reduced cd on bubble, protection and sacrifice, insane burst, mobility and instant self healing. Yeah, the class ITSELF needs a nerf, damage and cooldown wise. Nerf the TALENTS, the regular ones.
