Thereās nothing really waiting at 85 that will get you into Dragon Soul unless you can find people to carry you or invest a large amount of time to buy justice and valor gear. For me, getting professions up for MOP is a better return than trying to get to Dragon Soul from hitting level 85.
Iām sitting in Discord with a holy paladin guildie that is currently pugging Twilights. He isnāt running into any issues. They arenāt unpuggable.
I think he meant for a freshly dinged level 85 it would be a lot of effort to get to a state where it is puggable without being carried.
I can see that being an issue, I guess Iām a bit different. Iād focus more on the VP and JP vendors first for gear before touching the protocols, the HoT dungeons are also a good source of loot if you are lucky enough to queue into them with RDF.
My FDK has managed to get 2 Souldrinkers and Eye of Unmaking just from specific queuing the HoT dungeons today and yesterday.

This is why retail does seasons/phases better.
The problem with Cata is the same issue Cata originally had. The difference between heroic dungeons and current LFR ilvl is 44 ilvl. This is totally unplayable for new 85ās.
If the devs cared about the game, they would have re-itemized the launch dungeons to award something like 359 at minimum.
Speak for yourself and yourself only. You do not speak for the community in general. I for one have 10 85ās, have 2 more to finish on alliance and a whole roster to do on horde who are all 80s. 80 to 85 is a massive grind without JJ. No JJ = no subscription from me.

I liked the boost to cut down on the random need to exit an area to level up to make red quests yellow.
I get that fun in anniv. The 30 ish tour in STVā¦becuase the area I am in is red now. lets go kill some animals for 2 levels! Not even on the same continent as ashenvale lol.
XP boost, looms, ride out the greens quests as needed and travel less is liked.
Reading your posts, I am grateful you do not want to play Cata classic. This level of whining in my LFG channel would be annoying.
