We are two weeks away, people. TWO. WEEKS.
I was 13 when vanilla first came out, and mostly lived off of a diet of hot pockets, easy mac, and Dr. Pepper. It was as awesome as it was awful.
This time around, my metabolism is changing and my tastes with it! I’m sure I’m not alone.
I think we can grade possible drinks, snacks and meals into four main categories:
-
CONVENIENCE (prep time, availability, reheat…ability)
-
MESSINESS (think buffalo wings when using a mouse/keyboard)
-
TASTINESS (gimme it)
-
NUTRITION (greasy food and a sedentary lifestyle… what could go wrong?)
(5/5 good. 0/5 bad.)
I’ll start with a cry for help/something easy.
LAZY. DEVILED. EGGS.
Convenience: 5/5
Messiness: 4/5
Tastiness: 3/5
Nutrition: 2/5
Boil as many eggs as you want for 6-8 minutes depending on preference. A shorter boil gives you a softer center. Place eggs into an ice bath afterwards to make peeling easier.
Cut the eggs in half and arrange on a plate yoke-side up. Dab your favorite mustard onto each yoke, then sprinkle some salt, pepper, and cayenne. Add some little dill pickles on the side to take it to the next level.
Refrigerate until duty calls.
What are you guys planning?

So i make nacho that are perfect. Its kind of a throw back to nachos i use to eat almost daily in high school.
Convenience 4/5 (little prep and quick cook time)
Messiness 3/5 (depending if you want to dip or eat with fork)
Tastiness 4/5 (one of my favorite quick and easy week night meals with left overs for lunch the next day)
Nutrition 2/5 (not gonna say its healthy at all.)
Youll beed 1lb ground beef. Half a block of velveeta or equivelant store brand. A can of rotel and a can of beans but they are optional. I prefer black beans.
Brown your ground beef and cube your cheese and melt it down. Mix in milk for creaminess and help prevent burning. Once cheese is melted mix in rotel. When beef is browned either drain your beans and mix them in with the beef along with like 1/4 cup of water. And mix in your preffered taco seasoning. Just follow the instructions in setting it up. Usually its bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer until thickens. Mix in the beef and beans into your cheese and rotel.
Then in a bowl taco tortilla chips and crush them up. Add in any extras like salsa sour cream hot sauce what ever you want. Dump on some of your beefy cheesy goodness and enjoy with fork or spoon to prevent finger messiness. I love these. Quick and easy like 30 minute meal and makes a ton of food.

Yeah I’ll definitely be trying this!
I really enjoy it. Like i said. Nice and clean if you crush the chips up and mix the mixture in with it. And man its super tasty. And kind of versatile. Because you can add what ever you want with it
