Josh Greenfield on GDKPs in recent interview

And it should be banned there too. The gold from there is causing RMT in SoD. Ask Drink.

If you guys want to get rid of trolls on the forums just report them when they slip up. Here’s Zaalg calling me a stalker, report this post of his and I think there’s a good chance he gets sent on vacation:

Blizzard disagrees

How much of it?

Thank you for bringing this up. I will report Zaalg

Sadly I am currently out of reports and must wait 11-hours…

Too many :troll:s not enough reports.

Speaking of tokens, with the “clean” gold they received in WotLK, the botters can buy those off the AH to pay for game time so they can keep botting. It’s a vicious cycle.

Meh, they’re trying the ban first in SoD. And the interview mentioned from this thread says they’re seeing a positive effect. So hopefully the ban gets extended.

Ok so youre hoping, you still didnt answer the question.

How much of it and how is gold from wrath causing rmt in sod?

Explain the mechanism behind this

Yes, there are bots on SoD. I kill them every day on my rogue.

Mean while, I’m too scared to send any amount of money to my alts because I don’t want to risk being banned. The people I know that buy gold just laugh it off and continue to do so. The fact is that Blizzard does not possess a modicum of an idea of what they are doing at this point. I don’t really care about GDKP, gold buyers, or what ever. I just want to be able to know that I can send money and crap to my alts without some stupid garbage AI program banning me.

Are you serious? Ask your buddy Drink. He says he does GDKPs in Wrath to get gold, so that he can then transfer that gold to SoD. Where do you think that gold comes from in SoD? Out of the clear blue sky?

Activities that encourage botting creates gold that wouldn’t exist otherwise.

You still have not answered the question.

I will simplify it for you to easily answer.

How is traded gold from wrath causing RMT on sod?

What are the steps taking place here from start to finish

You’ll be fine as long as you haven’t bought gold and the characters are on the same account.

So all activities that generate gold encourage botting? You farming herbs is fueling botting then?

Because players are trading gold in one version to trade gold in another. That gold doesn’t magically appear. Just like the tens of thousands of gold used in GDKPs.

LOL. Swipers are so tiled by this ban.

Yeah, farming peacebloom is definitely on the same scale as someone bragging about earning 30k gold from one ruby sanctum.

Yeah and? You are 5 posts deep and have not explained how that creates RMT

How does trading gold -----> rmt

The gold does not fall from the sky. It is first generated.

If i trade 50g did that just make 50g come from the hills or did i spawn my character with that gold?

So what? You still havent explained how earing gold on wrath = rmt on sod

I think all my WotLK characters combined don’t even have that much gold. Not that you need that much anyway.

Man, you make no sense despite which character you’re posting on.

It creates a need for gold. A need for gold that wouldn’t exist otherwise. Bots are farming gold to sell to be traded. It’s not complicated.
