Joke is Over in Pvp I hope

I feel like this is part of what make classes feel like crap to play. They were well-rounded (for the most part), and then picked apart and now we have to choose specific parts of what was a full kit. It’s annoying.

Azerite traits are the kind of added flavor that classes need added via talents or whatever. Not taking my earthshield away and making me have to CHOOSE it to have it available.

Not true. I like terrible takes and I like Quikshot.

Definitely agree with that.
It may require a total rework of how PvP is handled, which I dont see happening in this lifetime. Not to mention that what I have in mind for changes would literally destroy pvp in WoW because players seem to like the fact that they can grind gear and be the top dog.
and I guess thats to Blizzards benefit as well…more hours logged grinding if nothing else.

Balance is clearly the key. Anyone CAN beat anyone else if they are the best player, regardless of class.

personally…and this is just my view…they can remove PvP from this game today and I couldnt care less.
PvP should be in games designed solely around PVP for the best PVP gameplay possible.

If only there was a button you could click that tells you what killed you?

Pika is watching an arena match as a spectator and doesn’t know how people are dying in real time.

In the past we could see if someone is being killed by player class abilities. Now it is random RNG procs killing people.

Which is anti immersive for a MMORPG like WoW whether from a PVE or PVP point of view.

DAoC comes to mind and I agree.

ESO was fun for me, but so many changes to try to mix pvp and pve have ruined it completely and I gave up on it.

I will play WoW unless they try to combine PvE and PvP more (which I don’t see happening now after the failed BFA attempt.

Keep that PVE nonsense away from my PVP

I liked but hated azerite traits, I liked what they did even tho majority of them were random or passive procs. But I hated how you acquired them, getting lucky with the azerite vendor and hope you get a decent roll isn’t fun and then the whole do I take ILVL over Azerite problem has always been iffy for me. I personally like to see a system where we get six azerite slots maybe even more and we can fill up those azerite slots with azerite traits from the armor. Maybe every x amount of rank you get you get another slot unlocked, the only thing good about the unlocks from the neck was the extra minor traits. I don’t know about yall but I wasn’t like WOO PERSEVERANCE BABY ANOTHER 3% TO MY STAMINA

AWC is going to be a beautiful disaster.

I love PvP games. Not in WoW, though. I mean, its ok and all, but the tab targeting thing kinda ruined it for me. I like crosshairs and having to keep moving both to dodge and to be able to hit my target. Just more challenging than tabbing to a target.

I use the macros /cleartarget and /targetenemy on most of my attacks just to try to simulate crosshairs to some degree. Not even remotely the same but I do have to keep my face aimed in the general direction of my target most of the time and its far harder to single out one target in a mob, which for me is even more fun.
ive not yet tried that in PvP. Mostly because Im having a hard time getting into a BG. Someone somewhere in here said its because my characters are locked at level 60.

I am not a fan of the system, but more the idea behind them. I like what they do to certain abilities and such. For example, there is a trait for resto shaman that increases the radius of SLT and gives an instant amount of health to everyone in it. But the traits being random and only applying to one spec for each piece of gear. Just yuck.

What about having the option to have some sort of currency or gold to completely get rid of all the azerite traits of that said piece and you can cherry pick what azerite pieces you want, got a higher ilvl upgrade but bad traits? just get rid of all the traits and choose your own for a new type of currency or gold ez. I just think we as players need alot more control of what we get maybe im just a competitive joe but min/maxing your toon to do whatever you need it to do is more fun then “Dangit, didn’t get Irontide Captain’s Hat this week ill try again next week”

The whole premise of Fallout is such a single player game.

Arena is a digital version of Ring-around-the-Rosie. I realize the skill of the people involved, and don’t want to slight them in the least… but chasing healers around pillars for hours has got to be exhausting.

No wonder they’re always so cranky.

Edit: it would be fun to watch everyone running in circles if they played the Benny Hill theme song.

This. It’s sad, but true. Pvp has never really been a focus for the game and its miserable state shows. It was somewhat enjoyable in Cata, MoP, and WoD but has been absolute trash since Legion launched.

Play other games for Pvp, like I do. This game is 99.99% about PvE and that’s been obvious for years.

Maybe they should give me back my baseline abilities and let these traits be in a talent tree instead.

100% on you with that one, im a fairly new player but when I found out how much spells in the game were PvP talents I was kinda surpised.
Neurotoxin
Cyclone
Spell Reflect
Temp Shield
Demon Armor

This is all I can think of off the top of my head but when I found out that all of those aren’t baseline I was genuinely surprised I always thought we just had them in our kit.

Absolutely, but a bunch of people convinced them that there were a ton of players who wanted to PvP in the Fallout world and it would have been a good setting. After they made it they realized how wrong they were.

They even came out and publicly stated they had no idea so few people would be interested in PvP.

The same thing happened with the talent trees. Savage Roar was a baseline. As I mentioned earlier, earthshield was baseline. And there are many others I’ve forgotten or simply don’t know because I didn’t/don’t play that class. I’m really curious with how they plan to fix classes in SL.
