Guys if I am to recommend anything that resembles old school wow is 20th Ann pvp realm Nightslayer. More or less got even All/Horde at about 15k users each. People abundant in the very low character creation areas, world pvp is awesome. Left Whitemane server to come here and I couldn’t have been happier. I suggest you also follow the lead.

Keep in mind that you can no longer effectively layer hop to escape camping as there is a cooldown, but not only that, rogues will follow you if you do decide to try it. The “”“wpvp”“” degen is way worse this time around and you may have a better time on Dreamscythe.
But if you do play a rogue and want to take part in camping then by all means go for it

They all dodge PVP on NS with layering. I would not say the grass is greener because the game is moving to TBC.

Thats a good thing. One of the fun things about classic pvp is that you can cut off sub zones from the other faction.

You’re the guy that got banned for buying gold in your gold seller guild, according to your own post. The rampant gold buying on Nightslayer is just mind bending, and there is nothing old school about the night slayer experience, its gross because people buy gold for everything, and yeah some of you get banned for it. The layers make the world feel janky and dumb, and the economy is fully trashed. Not a whole lot that feels good about nightslayer.

u 100% right - people are buying mad amounts of gold on that server. Thats why i was just joining the crowd.
That being said the AH is always full of stuff at any level; people are kind; loadz of people have given me 100g for free. Many mages give free portals. Entry level areas are always full. Dungeons are always full. World PvP is awesome - what more do u want?
Because people buy gold is not a good play on your part to join them… There is no avoiding purchased gold but you can easily make some coin on the auction house; use that instead and you will never need to buy gold again. This is how I make gold on both Whitemane and Nightslayer.

The PvPBro server mentality is meh. Still met a lot of nice folks on here, but RPPvP blows it out of the water.

Gen 1 Grob mob was awesome, I really miss it. It was even still decent in TBC, but dropped off a cliff in Wrath with tons of new players from other servers who wanted something other than a 1 faction server. The problem is that they brought their PVE server mentality with them, and when I say PVE server I am regarding so called PVP servers that were really PVE servers because they all became 1 faction servers with like 7 players left on the opposing faction. These new players whimper and cry about world PVP and should have just selected a real PVE server and had a good time.
That flood of new blood washed away the light duty RP elements of Grob and with that the server itself lost its soul and died.

Massive understatement here i remember that week right before bgs came out and low levela couldnt do spit because they were farmed endlessly by the 60s im big groups.
