One of the available paths through the Midnight campaign, players will undertake a new questline alongside Arator, son of Turalyon and Alleria Windrunner. At the request of Alonsus Faol, you’ll recruit Arator for this continent-spanning adventure to seek out relics of the Light used by priests and paladins at the Sunwell when their reserves run dry.

Lyrath has been part of the lore for a while now buddy.
Lirath has been canon to WoW since 2008. Which I believe is the first time he was mentioned in the WoW book beyond the dark portal.
He was basically created so that Alleria would have an extra reason to hate the Horde.
Probably. I skip raiding, PVP, and M+ and I still have plenty to do. I haven’t even really done anything with Siren’s isle.
I’m a little interested in Arator but disappointed he doesn’t have half-elf ears when we were introduced with half-elves this expansion. His whole aesthetic outside of his armor bugs me, lol. He looks like a generic blood elf with early 2000s “white guy who listens to rap on the mean streets of Connecticut” energy (the w-word is derogatory so I don’t want to get a slap for it, lol).
If it’s part of the main story campaign you can’t really skip it.

I have hated every “main character” that Blizzard has pushed on us since Cata. I doubt this will be any different.
To be fair, we’ve seen him as a baby and he was hideous.
