From Redridge to Nazmir… god he made my 5th run of the War Campaign questline so much more bearable. I love this NPC.

My first real ‘wow’ moment in WoW was the quest chain with Bravo Company in Redridge. What a story, especially for the uninitiated. And then what a surprise when he showed back up in the Burning Steppes.

Even John pales in comparison to the great Captain Placeholder.
He took us where we needed to be when no one else could.
In the tune of Immigrant Song from Led Zeppelin:
