I dunno how many of you guys ever bought shirts, hats, etc from them but on January 1st this year they officially closed their doors.
They started back in 1999 selling geek culture merch but when they started selling official Blizzard stuff they really took off. When the Blizzard site didn’t have something I was looking for I’d always check these guys out. They had so many cool shirts. One of my favs was the Eastvale Logging Camp shirt. One of the places we all got our first mount. I still have it and I wish I bought a few of them back in the day.
Anyway. I just thought it would be nice to make a post to thank these guys for giving us a place to buy some cool stuff.

They were too expensive for me when I started playing WoW, and after I made my money, I guess I still felt sort of jaded towards them from when I couldn’t afford their stuff.
I bought my nephew, niece, and kids some Jinx merch, but I never got any for myself.
I did buy stuff physically at the BlizzCon store inside the convention center every single BlizzCon until the pandemic put a stop to physical assembly, but never ordered directly from Jinx unless it was for a birthday and the kids had asked for something specific. They usually did though. I think I got my niece a Minecraft Creeper hoodie from there as well. She loved it, but it was like $90. Not a big deal, really, but it’s well above the average price for a hoodie. I don’t really spend a lot of money on t-shirts for myself. Seems wasteful to me. You can get t-shirts for free.
I’d rather just get tailored clothing that fits, looks good, and lasts.
The only t-shirts worth the money are from TShirtHell. I love their more offensive designs and think they deserve the extra $5 they cost over a generic t-shirt just because they have the guts to unapologetically offer items printed with words that the vast majority of people who read them will find wildly offensive.

I wish I could have gotten stuff from them but they had really expensive shipping to Canada…so I never bothered.

JINX was ran by the intelligent alien race of Dolphins, who closed the site down to return to their home planet. As you can see per the website, their goodbye message is posted there stating:
“So long and thanks for all the fish”
Here’s a video, of their heartfelt farewell –

Aw. I still have my very old Jinx shirt with the original priest class icon. And more recent years, some Jinx overwatch hoodies.

I still have my “For the Horde” t-shirt that I bought at Universal Orlando - and, it’s in pretty good shape…
Jinx quality really was bad. When you buy a tshirt for $30.00 it should not rip just putting it on. And the writing was on the wall when blizzard dropped them as a vendor a year ago because of quality control it was only a matter of time before they where done.
I would love to see a new vendor rise up and take their place but with high quality product this time. If I’m spending $30+ on a t-shirt for my nerdy gear then it should at least last.

I’ve never heard of them and now it’s too late! But I love that shirt, you should consider getting a t-shirt shadow box and hang it on your wall.
That’s a shame to see they are closed now. One of my favorite zip up hooded sweatshirts came from there. It was modeled after what Chen Stormstout wears in-game. They released it around the time MoP was released. It’s pretty beaten down now but I still wear it during fall and winter months.
I didn’t buy much from them and went through the Blizzard Store for other apparel, but it is sad to see them close down.

Never bought their stuff. Always seemed to be overpriced. Maybe if I could have seen their stuff in a store to determine if it was worth it.
I loved jinx. I bought 7 shirts and a wallet from them and never had a problem. I still have my death knight shirt its about 7 years old now.
