Yes, got one in lfr off Broodmother
I mean they brining back other mounts on Twitch, and Amazon for free and TP its Blizzard 2024 , no one gets left behind
Fated LFR was yes, but the Achievement tied to the mount specifically stated Normal+ In the description for the mount reward.
Fated LFR is a thing but appears to not have had its required ilvl updated to S4 levels, at least it was going to let me queue up on a 412 alt this afternoon.
I don’t know…people complain incessantly about FOMO. AND…they also complain incessantly about bringing back items that previously seemed unobtainable, i.e. the FOMO items. I’m starting to think it’s very difficult to make everyone happy.
It was a thing last time, and counted for the dinar quest last time.
hahaha work…we had to clear normal for it.
didnt they say they wouldnt bring back time speciifc rewards? i.e mage tower, challenge mode…
Maybe they put it in so now people could get it just by doing lfr.
it was a Fated raid rewards, these are fated raids. NO problem here move along
Who said it was time restricted and couldn’t come back in another Fated season? And why does it matter so much? People still need to run three weeks of raids to get the currency to buy it and then sacrifice buying any gear for it.
The achievement is literally called Fates of the Shadowlands, “complete all three Fated raids on Normal Difficulty or higher in Shadowlands Season 4” That’s where it says it’s time restricted, Shadowlands season 4 was Last expansion, and this season is “Awakened”
That isn’t an answer to my question. It was a reward from an achievement last Fated season. Now it’s a vendor buy this Fated season with a new achievement mount.
So where did it say it couldn’t return later?
It does answer your question, It’s from an Achievement no longer available as that was the Reward for doing it at that time and was even announced as such. That’s literally the whole point of the post as why is this being brought back. Per the achievement and requirements of said achievement, now it’s being Oh you can just buy it since you missed out on doing what needed to be done at this time.
It was placed in the same category as the AOTC mount and Mythic+ Seasonal reward mounts. All similar ‘leaving with DF launch.’
Obviously you can say ‘but they didn’t say NEVER COMING BACK’ - which, sure, but then you must be arguing that AOTC mounts are not meant to be gone forever (which historically they have stayed gone)
It doesn’t. Nowhere does anything say it can’t come back as a purchasable option in another season.
Because it did leave with DF launch. That doesn’t mean they’re all the same thing.
Don’t reach so hard, you’re going to pull a muscle.
It’s a Feat of Strength achieve. aka something you can’t or shouldn’t get when the season is over, but you’re trying to argue with FoMo math, as it wasn’t specifically stated, so with THAT logic, ALL items should be available to purchase
I think you missed the point where they used literally the same exact language for this, AOTC, and M+ Mounts and placed them all together.
Did you even click the link?
Going Away with Dragonflight Launch:
- [Assumed gone forever] the Hero of Fate title (Heroic)
- [Assumed gone forever] Shadowlands Raid Teleports (Mythic)
- [Assumed gone forever] The Carcinized Zerethsteed mount quest item, obtained from defeating the Jailer on Heroic difficulty or above
- [Assumed gone forever] RESTORATION DEATHWALKER MOUNT
- [Assumed gone forever] Veilstrider title
- [Why would you assume this was gone forever??] Jiglesworth Sr. mount (Normal)
The language is pretty clearly evoking a ‘going away forever’ especially when (1) the language is the same for other things assumed gone forever and (2) placed in the same exact section as other things assumed gone forever.
I bet if you polled people whether they thought it would be gone forever at the end of SL you’d get a high hit rate on ‘obviously’
If this language is not meant to evoke ‘gone forever’ then I look forward to these other rewards being made available.
Late Edit:
Adding on here how Blizzard framed it:
When the Dragonflights of Azeroth return, you’ll leave the Shadowlands behind. Before you journey back to the realm of the living, you may want to spend your remaining moments in the afterlife seeking out a few rewards that will no longer be obtainable (or more difficult to acquire) in the upcoming expansion—Dragonflight .
“No longer obtainable”
Yes, you’re feeling the urge to point out this clause " (or more difficult to acquire)" but this obviously directly references the tab after which says “Difficulty increasing when DF launches”. This is referencing things like Mythic 100% mount drops going to 1%. It’s in its own section.
