Jeweled Whelpling Pet - Pattern question

I just got the onyx whelping on my JC and am confused on how to get the rest of the recipes. Do they come from the Dragnscale faction or are they random drops from this point forward?

Also the mats. I got one treasure map for the special jewel “cluster” and realized I could only make 1 pet. How do you get more of the special jewel cluster mats? Do they just drop randomly or do I need to do more with dragonscale expedition rep? I tried looking this up but there are conflicting answers.

After you find a map and loot the chest, you can rarely find clusters of that type in expedition packs, dirt piles, and chests.

Okay so I just need the first map from the Blacksmith at Dragonscale camp and can find all the rest. right? Wasn’t sure if I needed a “first map” for each type to keep finding that type.

Sorry for not being clear, but you do need to find maps for the other four types of clusters after unlocking the onyx one.
