So it seems I came back recently and in my bag of shiny things (get it? yah im a funny guy) i have Jeweled Fishing Pole and Bone fishing pole. It is a very nice drop on both and I remember being able to use these before BFA and now it requires Northrend fishing (1), at the same time my bone fishing pole which both of these came out at the same time in patch 3.0.1 only requires fishing (1)
Just like my fishing chair, blizzard said it was a bug to be fixed in a later patch.
I do hope this is a bug for its by far my favorite pole. I hope it does get fixed to fishing (1) Thank you for your time and attention.
If you visit a fishing trainer you should be able to pick up Northrend Fishing for 10g and that will allow you to use the pole.

I am in the low level bracket of twinks, I do not get to train for Northrend fishing till level 58.
