im clearly not the only one thinking about this. how sick would it be to strap on a jet pack to fly through the sky?

Easily the best part of Mechagon.
Itâs still in the testing phase.

Because seriously, no one wanted to buy flame retardant pants and boots with the first design:

There should be jetpack rentals at the DMF.
How do his legs not burn off?
He should be shrieking in agony as his legs are destroyed by 4th degree burns.
I would like to see smaller mounts to enjoy the scenery in the air. One of the reasons I like the Hallows End broom mount is I can enjoy the wide vas view of the world without something obstructing my view.
Jet Pack mount would be fun to have to explore and enjoy the scenery of the game world.

Itâd be cool as a backpack so you can keep wearing it once youâve landed too.
This! Iâm imagining a claw pack that can be engaged into a âflight formâ, jet pack would be awesome!
Honestly, since the films set around the 40âs Iâm going with Asbestos.
Yes, we know now that itâs hazardous to our health but back then it was widely used in buildings for its flame retardant abilities. So not much of a stretch to think that the characters would repurpose it for flame retardant clothing and boots. (Which would also mean that if the character survived his adventures heâd sadly have to deal with asbestos related cancers later.)
But since âThe Rocketeerâ is a Disney movie and shouldnât be bogged down by a depressing take, the alternate answer is Handwavium. Like itâs fantasy cousin Mythrill, Handwavium is the go to element for your fiction films when you need to have a concrete counter to answer your fiction storyâs real world problems.
