I think I have the nuances of this WQ figured out.

The trick is to line up the center of the circle with the first jelly. Keep your character looking at the first jelly until the last second before you hit the jelly. Then turn your camera to face the next jelly. The trick is to turn the camera at the right timing. Start turning the camera too soon and you’ll veer off course and miss the jelly left or right by just a foot. That’s enough to throw you off. At first I thought it was inconsistent. Then I learned it’s more of a finesse thing. The jumping isn’t fire and forget. You have to finish guiding your character to the jelly and then point yourself in the direction of the next one. Rinse and repeat.

Hopefully this helps anyone struggling with it.

If you figured out before hand then good on yas.

Whoever came up with this god awful quest is probably the same one that did the Kirin Tor Wind quest and should go take a time out for being so horrible.

I actually don’t mind this quest. Jumping on the first few jellies is pretty easy. I might miss it once and fall not far, then start over but I get it pretty quickly. After you get to the top of that first section, just turn around and jump towards the target and you’ll get it done. I’ve never needed to jump around that other set of jellies.

How to not get mad doing Jumping Jellies: Pretend it doesn’t exist and it will disappear within 24 hours.

Literally one of the easiest quests in this game. If you can’t do this your hand eye coordination is terrible.

  1. Jump into cyclone
  2. Jump to farthest jelly
  3. Jump to large purple jelly
  4. Turn at peak height to face Tickles
  5. Earn credit and move on to next

All in all should take about 15s.

This quest is still a nightmare for anyone playing with 150ms and above.

I have a 450ms latency because i needed to be routed through Singapore for whatever reason and i dont even get the bouncy bubble when im launched so i fall through the jellyfish.

This wq is terribad and they should feel bad for its crap implementation.

Ikr, I live in Australia and I play on US servers, so on an average my ping could vary anywhere between 175 to 250ms. I dread every time this quest is up, as the bubble vanishes immediately after I am launched into the air.

I found a tip that said to face left when starting and just bounce up to the big purple one then immediately turn 180 to get to the quest objective…Tickles? Is that his name? May take a couple of tries but it’s pretty painless. Unless all the nagas are right underneath.

best tip i can give is pass on it the rep isnt worth it!!!..lol.

Step 1: Turn your camera to top-down view.
Step 2: Use your mouse to turn in small circles.

The landing area is actually rather generous.
