Is it true that JC gives better stats? I wanted to go enchanting because it’s self reliant.

For boomkin, I want to be engineer and jc or enchanting.
warcraft tavern says that “Like with most other classes & specs in the game, Engineering will be your strongest profession. For the second profession slot, we recommend Tailoring, which is generally viewed as the best 2nd profession for casters.” For more, I’d google what they say since I can’t add links on posts.
I maxed Engineering, but I don’t like tailoring because it’s a proc and not reliable. I think you’re looking at pve best professions. I am interested in pvp.

Enchanting and jc give the same amount of stats, however JC is more customizable.
As an example you can get bonus hit rating or even resilience with JC, enchanting cant do that.
The reason JC is better is because you can take stat priority into account.
This is true, but jc is not self reliant profession. With enchanting I can make gold.
