Got into a long conversation with the highest level JC on the server (hes a beast the guy has like 250 pts, farms shards all day, 3 primalist gems unlocked) He insists that the inspiration tree gives you base skill and the wording is actually in the skill description.
The skill reads “Inspiration grants 10% additional skill when crafting jewlcrafting goods” Now I read this and think: when I get an inspiration proc its 10% more skill, if the inspiration is +100 skill it’s now 110.
He says what it actually does is raise your BASE SKILL for every craft by 10% of your inspiration. So if you have 150 Inspiration from weapon and enchant, you now have 15 BASE skill for everycraft you do. Which you don’t see untill you actually craft the item.
This blew my mind of course, but also seemed crazy because how have I never heard anyone talking about this? At max tree it would be 50% of your inspiration which would be like 60 skill higher. Has anyone tested this?
