Just as the topic title says…Bought two and no new recipes. Even moused over the individual recipes to see if any were marked with the “Already Known” tag but no…Now I’m out 8 tokens for nothing.
Same. I bought a tome, used it, and didn’t learn anything from it. I have no new recipes.
Purchased the Tome of Burning Jewels from the new vendor BEFORE purchasing any new recipes for the epic gem cuts. Clicked on the book, it disappeared but I did not get a new Epic gem recipe.

I moved the thread, but I absolutely appreciate the callout about which forum to post it in.

Same here. I used in the in-game bug report system to make a report; was able to get a cut (the 5 token one), tried the tome after and lost yet another tome without learning anything. I also lost 8 tokens.

Long shot, but are we going to get refunded any JC tokens we spent on the Tome of Burning Jewels?

I lost 5 Tomes to this before I realized I wasn’t getting any new recipes. Glad I didn’t buy the other 10 Tomes and stopped to check which recipes were “learned”.

same thing happened to me. purchased the book, saw the light flash animation, but no message notified me of a new cut. looked in my book, no new cuts. logged out/in, waited multiple hours, nothing. opened a support ticket in-game, and they were less than helpful. refused to refund my tokens. this is terrible. that’s 4 days of dailies down the drain.
Any update on this? I’ve seen a few hotfixes go out since Tuesday, but nothing about this issue. In fact, other than this post, there isn’t even an acknowledgement that anything is wrong!

JC book works now, just not acknowledgement from Blizzard that it’s been fixed.
