Some people put up tents on the area so you can’t see. When you have 3-7 tents up, you really can’t see.

So it’s a non-issue since you have to be in a group with that person to be effected. What did you expect if you join random raid groups for outdoor content, lol.

So you’re saying people shouldn’t be in a group for content that requires a group?
People expect to work towards a rare spawn. Not get screwed by some rando. I’d suggest reading the entire thread to understand the issues with the portal and the interact functions people are using in order to deal with toys on the scrap piles.

I haven’t joined a group to kill a rare in at least 3 expansions. But I’ve mostly played Horde and I think it’s an Alliance thing to make raids for them?
In any case, you don’t have to join a group to kill rares.
You have to join a group, or be near an outrageous amount of people for the scrap bar to fill though, so the rare can even spawn.
Try reading the thread.

I’ve filled the scrap bar without being in a group so it’s not impossible. Blizzard will probably adjust the numbers needed anyway. So again, no need to be in a group.
To me, you come across as the kind of people that feel inconvenienced by anything and everything around them. You’re likely the cause of fun toys not being able to be used in raids during downtime because of all the Karen complaints.

Next up. OP complains about mages casting portals to Old Dalaran and that people shouldn’t have be more observant before stepping through the portal.

I’m not the author of this thread. I simply understand an issues people are having, because scrap piles cannot be done on many servers, so people join groups. Asking for a way to track who uses a toy that removes people from their tasks and possibly misses their chance at a rare is not the end of the world.
No one is asking for the toy to be changed nor nerfed. Just for a way to track a problem person and remove that problem from the group.
You chose to come in here uninformed and tried to take the high ground. You lost. Moving on.

But the request is backwards, and won’t solve the problem besides. Ask for a way to avoid clicking the portals in the first place rather than requesting a way to identify the person who screwed you. Being able to tell who did it so you can kick and report them will do exactly nothing to prevent them from doing it again at first opportunity, and it won’t undo the damage already done, so it makes far more sense to ask Blizzard for a way to prevent accidental clicks instead, because that would actually fix the problem.

as an EVE Online player, this sounds like an absolute win. Keep it up.
The locket has a 10 second cast time reduced by haste. I can remove them before the cast finishes. I would love for Blizz to remove portals, certain toys, and certain items from the community events.
Someone posted a macro that might work. But I’m not around to test it. But people do still want the annoying person removed from their group who decides to try to be an annoyance.
I mean, I’m certainly not keeping someone around who wants to act obnoxious. Sure, they can join another group. Let that group deal with them. I won’t have to anymore.
