i expect nothing less.
and people wondered why this war makes no sense with this imbalance of characters? we just need a 5 man group to solo orgrimmar.
my only complain is that she was healed so soon.unnecessary.
If I gave Blizzard’s story writers any kind of credit I might try arguing that they give the Alliance all the big guns just to show how much the Horde’s members need each other.
See, the Alliance relies completely on a handful of A+ rank characters to get things done while the Horde goes for a pack of C+ types.
Quality vs Quantity kind of thing. In the hands of someone who knew how write a decent story you could get some mileage out of that, but this is modern Blizzard…soooo…yeah…not so much.
So the Alliance gets a bunch of high power types that feud with each other, but are super powerful and the Horde gets a bunch of weaker folks, but they know how to work together because they have too.
It’s also an exaggeration of what really happened. Nathanos snarked at her like she wasn’t a threat at all and then Zul played a gambit on her that enabled them all to escape.
Really, that whole scenario was bullcrap and entailed a bunch of second tier Horde characters punking the Alliance’s big wig racial leaders.
If item #3 is her as a boss fight in Dazar’alor then sure. (Granted, the Horde made her retreat there.)
Unless there’s something else I missed.
But item #1 is not as embarrassing portrayal of the Horde as it’s made out. They were treated with actual dignity there, arguably at the expense of the Alliance because they were outsmarting them at every turn while breaking Talanji out.
/sarcasm How could you say that? The Horde easily got into the city!!! They made all the Alliance leaders LOOK LIKE FOOOOOOOOLLLSSSS. The Alliance should’ve been able to KILLL ALL OF THEM NO PROBLEM!!! How dare they get to walk in an Alliance capital city!!!
Yeah, everyone knows the BFA writers made Jaina the most powerful monstrosity in the universe. It just makes it extra weird when she faceplants on things like not teleporting Varian to safety.
Out of everything, that’s what made you mad? Like, maybe they could have taken her, but they had the entire adventurer and military population of Stormwind bearing down on them. Their #1 priority was to gtfo and Jaina even managing to slow them down would have been fatal.
Although I still don’t quite think any of the Horde characters were scared of Jaina, if they then it was a very subtle kind where they were masking it with snark.
