Jaina's fan art print

Well, people like him defend those tactics. They aren’t people like me that hate em or people like you that learn crap you don’t like.

Honestly, you’re blowing things out of proportion… in the words of your own in a way.

Don’t say what you think I meant, listen to what I am telling you. =] Either way, enjoy your day.

The $8250 dollars they made with 150 prints is a major cash grab. They make more on the $10 pets.

But a lot of artwork is limited to increase the net value. That’s pretty much the entire art world. If you pump a piece out like it is mass production trash, it is as valuable as art on a notebook you bought in elementary school. The artist wants to make the most out of their work, they do limited sales. Increases value, increases profits. I swear some people here are just entirely against capitalism without realizing it.

Exactly, it’s all a ruse to upsell the item. That’s my point, I dislike that.

I, personally (make sure that word is there) don’t like that. End of story. Didn’t expect so many replies.

McDonalds could easily make that stupid rick n morty sauce that all you nerdboys love every day of the year, but they choose to limit it.

Twix could easily make The Dark Chocolate Mint a permanent choice, rather than a limited edition flavor.

This is basic…like, basic basic…supply and demand. Limit supply, demand rises.

If you don’t like it, well, I hear :cuba: or :north_korea: are lovely this time of year.

I’m going to be honest, I love Twix.

But I wouldn’t’ spend 5 bucks for a stupid candy bar just because they slapped limited edition. Now who’s really offended here?

What does this have to do with living in other countries?

When did I say I dont understand how it works?

It was a nod to Communism (the flags were of Cuba & N. Korea, respectively), since you seem to be allergic to basic capitalist ideals, Bernie Sanders.

Again with the “people like him” stuff…

He gave you points. It wasn’t defending anything. And you flipped out and had to jump on him about it instead of having an actual conversation.

But sure, continue to think that you didn’t respond poorly. I’ll remember to just ignore your comments and posts from now on, since having an actual discussion with you isn’t possible. :+1:

Honestly, the replies are showing to be more salty than the red sea. Realize it was an opinion.

My comment has somehow made me communist, awesome.

And people like you dont’ read anything past what you think.

=]. Enjoy your day.

Edit: I will say, downplaying everyone’s replies isn’t not having a conversation. It’s simply you not liking it and taking more offense than you ever needed to.

There’s a difference though between not liking something- and it being a bad business practice.

Nobody’s denying that it’s your opinion you don’t like it- but you’re wrong about it being bad business to have limited deals. It’s commonplace, and it’s been commonplace since the birth of trade.

What people don’t get is why you’re insulting everyone because they disagree and being so hostile.

I agree that artificially limiting a print (it’s not like these are all uniquely handmade or something) seems like a stupidly silly idea, but if we’re going to be outraged by anything, let’s be outraged by the Blizz store not providing framing options. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

wish I woulda had the cash to buy one of those XP damn jealousy pain there

Everyone’s saying this is a cash grab, but that doesn’t really make sense. Yes, creating a limited quantity artficially drives up the value of the item; however, I would have gladly paid more than $55 for this, even if it wasn’t limited. I didn’t get a chance to get one now since there were so few made. With so few of the prints available they could have charged much more for them and sold them just as fast. Honestly it seems stupid to me that they didn’t make more. I’m sure this would have sold out no matter how many they made.

I want to give them money for this, but they didn’t make enough to let me. ffs
