Jaina's fan art print

Why make it limited edition ? I understand doing it for 150 with the signature… but make it at least 1k of one without it, or more.

I’m sorry, this just seems a cash gab. I do say the Art is nice but… limited edition screams “Please buy”.

Personal opinion.

Of course limited editions and time period based sales are designed to increase the worth of something.

Its why nearly every industry in the world participates in them.

Because Jaina sucks. No one wants to buy anything resembling her.

Why do people like you come here, defending stupid decisions for companies?

“Of course companies want to make money”.

That’s all well and good my man, but simply slapping “limited edition” to try and create a fake scarcity when we all well and know it’s easily re printable is just, pathetic.

Make good art, people will buy. What’s with the need to pretend to limit something?

Not even a body pillow?

Nope

Yeah, that’s true, but it’s a cash grab by a company that is losing favorability with its fans. Not a great idea in my opinion.

I guess I just get bored with people pretending an industry standard is somehow something new Blizzard is doing.

Its typically attached with fake outrage by people that never seriously planned on participating in purchasing the item(s) in question, but can now feign they would have so they can be outraged.

It’s a nice picture but what I would love to have is this Jaina Proudmoore statue shown at Blizzcon 2018.

Because it’s marketing. And it’s existed for decades.

Why do people like you come in here and try to act like you’ve never heard of this concept before and that it’s somehow evil?

I didnt’ say anything about it being specifically Blizzard.

I was talking about the stupid part where it says “limited edition”.

Again, you think I’m talking about Blizzard specifically don’t you? Maybe read my post and you’ll generally understand I don’t like limited edition items in general, from anyone or any company.

but let’s pretend I meant Blizzard, right?

And when the hell did I say it was evil?

I never said Blizz specifically, did I? You railed against the concept as if it was the worst thing known to man. As of this is some newfangled idea that’s destroying commerce or something.

It’s marketing. Maybe take a class, learn some stuff about it and psychology if you’ve got some interest in how it all works and why companies do this. This isn’t something you need to flip out on others about.

No I didn’t, I said it was a cash gab “please buy” feeling. Even afterwards stated it’s my own opinion meaning I know others don’t exactly feel that way.

I know what it is, now you’re just being stupid. Stating my opinion isn’t lashing out at others and you said the concept like it’s my first time seeing it ever.

$55 for a picture? Like with most nerd junk. I’m assuming most of us players have. It would just collect dust . Easier just to copy the pic and print it out . Decent pic but honestly players don’t need more junk in there houses.

It doesn’t actually matter whether you were talking about Blizzard specifically, or all companies as a whole. There’s no point to you being here and commenting. You just needed to be angry about something, and you had to share that meaningless outrage with the rest of us. Shoo, forum troll.

I’d sell my pinky toe for a Jaina body pillow. Just saying.

Right, because I can’t state my personal opinion on something.

Maybe you should just take the fact I don’t like it and get out of here, just because you don’t like something I disagreed with - now I’m a troll?

Sounds like you’re the troll here.

Nor did my statement even sound angry - it’s a simple opinion. =]

You flipped out on Akston with, and I quote:

And now you jump to insults. As if that’s somehow better.
