More than any other monster in the game, Horde players are forced to auto-lose against Jaina over and over and over again.
Theramore scenario: If Horde get too close to her she will kill their entire team in 1 shot.
Purge scenario: If Horde are seen by her she instant teleports them to jail OR instant kills them.
BFA intro: Every single Horde player in the game is forced to run from her in terror. If they don't, instant death.
8.1 raid final boss: When she reaches 50% health she laughs in the Horde's face and teleports away.
How many times have Alliance players PERSONALLY fought Sylvanas and been forced to auto-lose? 0?

Well.... Rexxar did say he was back in the war because she was pretty much on a crusade against the Horde and the bodies were piling up.
Maybe his reasoning isn't as silly as some people thought.

Her plot armor is thicker than a Fallout Bunker lol
Plot armor.
They try to hide it by saying she is supposed to be this super powerful mage and that Horde are smart to avoid fighting her.
When you bust Zul and Talanji out of SW, your party see her and go "Oh f*ck, go the other way, the other way! RUN!" while she approaches menacingly and raining freaking hail down.

Thankfully, she's slow and also blind as a bat and hits everyone around you.
Woe betide us, should she ever invest in glasses or a walking cane.

Because if she dont the alliance player will whine that she should be killing us and that by making her week blizzard favour the horde...

Other than one cataclysm alternate timeline? I can’t think of any time we’ve fought her personally
At this point, it's happened so many times that the game must be telling us that she's more powerful than Deathwing, the Old Gods, or any demon The Player has even beaten. Too bad she never seems interested in helping us fight them...11/06/2018 09:36 AMPosted by CalixtoPlot armor.

After the crap the Horde pull at Theramore i say good on Jaina. Best part is the Horde created their own worse enemy.
How many Horde cities have the Alliance mana bomb? Zero, hell The Undercity was destroyed by Sylvanas. So dont whine about faction parity to me.

blizzard never allow me to fight her directly, most of the times i can't target her.
gilneas and stormheim.. well, is not like she chased me, but in gilneas i had to hide like a mouse.
and in stormheilm, i was too late for the party so she escapes from me.
in war of thorns she villain monologue a little about executing "one of the alliance greatests hero's" (lol) but like every generic villain, she walks away before finishing the job or killing me. because that is what bond villains do.
Then in lordaeron she only runs away.
so my conclusion, plot armor, but the PC plot armor is greater.
i guess that i am glad that the alliance stills feels like a threat?
but at this point she is OP as hell and literally the only reason why we haven't lose the war yet, in lordaeron, bringing the fleet and attacking zuldazar.
maybe blizzard needs to chill out a little?
i know that she is top tier since wc3 but damn. the demon killing spree was some sort of special training ?
but also this:

This partisan !@#$ is irrelevant. Whether or not the alliance is more moral or Jaina has good reasons to hate the horde have nothing to do with OP's point.

Dear Zerde, I'd rather kill Jaina a thousand times than bomb Theramore.
Oh no a partisan post in a partisan thread whining over one of the least egregious examples of plot armor in a game whose narrative has always used plot armor and unearned moments to progress. The Horde deserve at least ONE enemy character who can run opposition against them. Heck, if they weren't portrayed as unstoppable brutal underdogs whom are vehemently against bigotry but pro genocide if those other guys really deserve it, it wouldn't seem so farfetched as to call someone armored by the plot when they stand a chance against them.11/06/2018 09:44 AMPosted by ZerdeAfter the crap the Horde pull at Theramore i say good on Jaina. The whole reason Jaina started her whole anti-horde schtick is because of Theramore...

Jesus, c'mon now. this is a little ridiculous.
Yes, the horde has been written poorly in its convictions. I don't see why that has anything to do with this.
No genocidal act the horde has done has ever been considered good "if they really deserved it" they are all framed at an atrocity.
I dont know whether or not I would refer to how Jaina is treated when she is hostile to the Horde PC as "plot armor" but I would say it is annoying. The way you are framing it is disingenuous. What the OP was referring to wasn't a character "standing a chance against the horde", he was referring to a character one-shotting any horde who got near them and being annoyingly overpowered in ways that arent enjoyable for the horde player.
The horde is not portrayed solely as some unstoppable, unlosing force. Please try to cut the partisan crap and discuss this in a more meta sense, please.

Not to put a point on it, but the Alliance never has fought Horde heroes like I alluded to outside of SoO or end times. We don’t get a chance to fight against Sylvanas, or Lor’themar, or baine, or...well, anyone. That’s part of the point. You guys have fought our heroes, characters we have as part of our story. We...don’t

of course that she will one shot horde players, what do you expect from a character that is literally a raid boss?
i understand if you don't enjoy it, that is fair. just like alliance players don't enjoy never being able to get sylvanas, always sneaky. we never can even fight against horde characters.
The price that we pay for being part of a two faction game.
Have we really fought Alliance heroes that often? The times we have to run away from Jaina/8.1 raid and end times are all I can think of really.
Regardless, I doubt Alliance players would enjoy a scenario where they are being hunted by Sylvanas, and if she sees you she one-shots you. The scenario being portrayed that way is annoying regardless of the side you are on.
The question then is; do you think it is better to fight the other side's characters, but they are ridiculously stronger than you and you never have any chance to cause serious damage, or not engage with them at all? Neither is good.

i don't have any problems from running away from characters stronger than mine, if one of them is horde, i don't see the problem.
in fact, is really fun, makes me remember that time when i was running from the lich king, live to fight another day, and eventually i could fight him, because i need 24 people to help me.
I don't expect that my character could be able to beat even baine, i know that i am strong, but lore characters should be far more stronger. it doesn't matter if we previously defeated titans or old-gods because that was with the help of 24 murder hobos.

that's fair, I can understand that opinion. You have to know that the forums would be exploding after a scenario like that.
And also, we know we aren't gonna eventually be able to take down Jaina as an antagonist to our faction. Even when we do fight her, she just leaves. And during all these scenarios with Jaina, it is hammering home that she is the one who is JUSTIFIED in the scenario, not the Horde PC. The tragedies that have happened to her are hammered home to the horde as well, so she doesnt come across as an antagonist really. Just someone who we abused who can one shot us in revenge. That plays into the annoyance.
This mainly becomes part of a different topic. The alliance is filled with super heroes pretty much, while the horde has like...Sylvanas? maybe Thrall? everyone else is just a skilled soldier or warrior.
