So far as I I know the story goes like this.
Jaina left and father went after her to save her? and on the way father met Garrosh and she stood aside while her father got massacred? and then she raised dead crew and ship from sea and thats all?
There’s a lot more to it than that… If you don’t mind waiting about 20 - 30 minutes I can give you a truly detailed post on it, but I’m at work atm.

Read this.
Theres a lot of blanks in it but a lot less than in your version…
Jaina was sent with the survivors of Lordaeron by Medivh to Kalimdor, where she helped Thrall and Malfurion fight against Archimonde. She later established the city of Theramore. When the founding of Orgrimmar was taking place, Rexxar (the Horde champion) was sent to find out why humans were attacking, and discovered that Admiral Proudmoore had come to find his daughter.
When Proudmoore threatened to attack Orgrimmar, Jaina stood aside and allowed Rexxar and the Horde into Theramore where they fought and killed the Admiral. She was then shunned by the Kul Tirans as a result. (These events were in the WC3: Frozen Throne expansion bonus campaign)
Following the events of Garrosh and the start of Legion, Jaina left the Kirin Tor and went back to where her father’s fleet had been sunk, and raised his flagship from the depths. It was this ship she sailed back to Kul Tiras to face her mother and family.
She also stood by while her hot bf killed a whole city and became the LK.
I would appreciate it .
No. Garrosh had absolutely nothing to do with Daelin’s death. He wasn’t even on the planet when that happened.
He was there in spirit! When thrall hammer smashed faced him!
The only part of that which was correct was jainas dad coming to take her back to kul tiras.
The rest was all wrong. Watch one of nobbels lore videos on jainas story.
So looking for her he met horde and got killed and jaina watched this happen?
jaina went to kalimdor following medivh advice
she took with her a contigent of forces from all nations of the alliance and survivors of lordaeron as the kingdom fell to the scourge and left arthas who he asked nicely to burn and entire city.
She then formed a mini alliance with the nelfs and the horde in the battle of hyjal versus the legion, after the battle, she founded the city of theramore with the remmants of lordaeron, by this point daelin looking for her found the orcs and starts killing them and taken her city, she didn’t wanted war so she stood aside to spare the lifes of her men and as an effort for world peace she did nothing.
After daelin’s death, she was banned from kultiras as a traitor and they left the alliance by that point, time passed and had to deal with some of her people still demanding horde blood, at first she organized peace summits to try to mend tensions between the factions. her efforts were in vain and in time, both factions went to war blaming each other.
war keep scalating garrosh by this time (cata) was named warchief by thrall and garrosh started a kalimdor conquest, one of his target was theramore so he used a nuke to destroy it, jaina was enraged and tried to get vengeance, after the destruction of the city she was named leader of the kirin tor, at first trying to work between the two factions, it didn’t work.
more time passed, now in legion, she believed that the horde betrayed the alliance and caused varians death, the council of six voted to let the horde back in, she didn’t liked it so she left and also left the alliance at that point because no one wanted to get vengeance for varian and was MIA for 2 years.
Then in bfa she returned to the alliance in the battle of lordaeron. where later she returned to kultiras to try to mend relations in the name of the alliance and was sentenced to death by her mother, eventually her mother change her mind and forgives her and is rescued from hell, and named lord admiral of kultiras where she lead the alliance efforts in both zuldazar and nazjatar.
There is a lot more in between but more or less that is what happeed.
I must try offering this scenario to my children. (not that I have any)
Essentially because of the original horde trying planetary genocide twice. Jainas dad hated the orcs. Jaina befriended thrall and felt the orcs deserved a chance at peace.
Jainas dad wanted to execute thrall and friends. Jaina disobeyed her dad and let the orcs kill him.
Ironically he told her the horde would betray jaina. And in the end they have multiple times. So her dads words and death is another regret of jainas.
Her entire life has been her trying to do good and save lives. But she always gets used, let down, betrayed, etc.
Eventually she stops trying to be peaceful after her dreams and lifes work get destroyed by gary.
Do her ally side story arc in bfa. It’s very good. Watch videos on youtube going over her whole story. Check out the books.
Jaina went to Kalimdor at the behest of Medivh. She went there to work together with the horde and the night elves to defeat the burning legion.
After the dust settled on that one, and Thrall and Jaina became friends and allies, Daelin strolls in and sees orcs. He immediately decides that he must exterminate all the orcs, and won’t hear any reasoning from Jaina.
Jaina is forced to stand aside and allow him to be killed in order to preserve the peace that she had worked so hard to create.
After Garrosh drops the mana bomb on Theramore, she flies into a rage and decides peace is no longer an option, nor was it really ever an option at all. She decides to spend the next few years feeding her hatred.
Over the course of BFA she deals with a lot of her old emotional baggage, comes to terms with a lot of things, and decides once again that peace is still a dream worth fighting for, but this time she isn’t naive as she was before.
This is the only correct post in the thread. Every other post whitewashes Daelin and makes the Orcs out out to be “villains”, when, at the time, it was Daelin that was in the wrong.
Yes, I know it’s shocking that an Alliance leader can do wrong and disgustingly evil things, but genocide is genocide.
A very fitting sentiment considering Jaina’s questionable relationship with persecuting people based on their race.
Can confirm.
The entire Kul’Tiran/Jaina Arc in BFA is fantastic IMO.
I’m normally against redemption arcs but this one actually sold me and I like her as a character.
