Not only 10 steps into the maw and I spot Jaina her power. As I see enemy minions dead before my eyes showcased in icy magic and fire. I almost forgot how powerful she was until Darion Mograine, Highlord of the Ebon blade, confirmed it. THIS was the work of none other than the Admiral. The news of Jaina her power must’ve taken word around the globe. This was a nice touch of Blizzard, even a Highlord of the Ebon Blade admired and respected this wizard who he never, not once, interacted with, besides standing in the same room as her. Truly showcases the amount of power and assertiveness that just radiates and drips from Jaina to anyone she simply walks by.
But then we see her standing off against the forces lf the maw. Ofcourse dead beat Thrall is just laying there like the lazy bum he is 
. I feel like they really showcased the effect of a man going through his midlife crisis.
And just when I thought that they couldn’t showcase my heroine as the boss lady she is. She already escaped multiple times, truly showcasing how useful Jaina is compared to all the men, like Anduin, Thrall and Baine.
Teleportation, mirror images, sculptures of ice at the flick of her fingers (Elsa from Frozen 
), stealth, there is literally nothing Jaina can’t do.
I did also enjoy how she basically was asserted as the leader. Everyone obeyed her and asked her what to do next. She really is such a boss lady 
. She was not only the brains, but also the strength behind the group 
.

Nah mate frost mages are bottom parse for mythic Nathria. Jaina is the fantasy, wet noodles are the reality.

Powerful characters can never win. Either they win because Deus Ex Machina, or they lose because they have to for the narrative.
Varian was boring anyway. Sadly, Anduin is worse…

I used to like her… then she joined a group with me and suddenly forgot to cast anything but rank one frostbolt while talking about non-stop about something (I’m not sure since I put her on mute).

I will admit, ‘Thrall’s midlife crisis’ got a lol from me.
Nope. But the book is still part of the lore and character development based on the game.
It’s all up to individual tastes anyway. One person’s boring is another person’s ‘yes please.’
If she’s all that why did I have to rescue her from Torghast?
I wanted to leave her there in eternal torment but that simply wasn’t an option.
