Hello!
Note: This is regarding MW’s version of the spell but I assume the same applies to the Windwalker Version.
The most straightforward way to test this is to use Jadefire Stomp at the Valdrakken 5-target dummies.
Faeline stomp, when used in this same scenario, would go toward the pillar, and upon contacting it, branch away in both directions to make a fanned out shape. When doing so, it would still hit enemies.
Jadefire stomp, on the other hand, attempts to draw its pattern onto the pillar and draws over itself repeatedly, as well as through the pillar slightly, making a visual mess and, most importantly, failing to hit anything in the process. 0 damage is done when this happens, and it’s not exclusive to the valdrakken dummies or due to the pillar being a pillar. Dropping a dummy toy near a wall, or using it against, for example, the animated duelist in Valdrakken while in melee range does the exact same thing. It seems that if used against any wall while near said wall, unlike Faeline fanning out to the left and right, it bugs out and draws over itself 3-5 times over and does not actually hit anything in the process.
Pls fix. Thanks!

p.s. this animation is much easier to see ground effects under and is much more thematically appropriate so at least that part is great!
