Probably eventually, but not a recolor. They’ll re-use the skeleton.
But they don’t recolor store mounts and give them away in other parts of the game. They just re-use the skeletons.
The only one to my knowledge that’s ever been a recolor is the Hearthstone Rat, but that was an exception as it was a reward for a Blizzard Crossover Event-Thingiemajig and it was the mascot of Hearthstone.
There’s been plenty of Skeleton Re-using though. So we’ll probably see more Rabbit Mounts.

I think the only Chinese zodiac mount that’s been repurposed as something you can get in-game so far is the dog one. And that was probably just because it’s based on the MoP quilen rig. I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
It’s already obtainable in-game. Save your gold and buy a couple of tokens then exchange them for Bnet bucks to buy the mount.
Hm I just bring it up 'cause the sapphire skyblazer is one of the store mounts but the same kinda mount is in-game now (w/o gold)
Think it’s called the zenet hatchling or somthin.
The bunny mount is really cool - I’m just not a fan of the current colors, something more realistic would be nice.
