Ivus the Forest Lord: No Bonus Roll

Ivus the Forest Lord is currently not offering a chance to bonus roll: Entire raid did not get the option.

Definitely had Seals of Wartorn Fate.

Just killed him. I got the option to bonus roll and rolled. Didn’t get anything but gold, tho.

I know it sucks, but, I promise you, this isn’t the biggest bug with Ivus atm… It’s being heavily exploited. It wouldn’t surprise me if the servers get rolled back, or reset in some way

Ivus wouldn’t let me bonus roll on characters who only had a single Seal of Wartorn Fate.

A workaround is to purchase another seal and kill him again. I just did this on my Hunter and was able to bonus roll on the second kill…(edit) but this workaround didn’t work for my Death Knight.

I had to kill him twice to get the bonus roll to pop up. Can’t have been an issue with holding only one Seal because I had five at the time of my first kill.

Same for me. Couple that with people getting to get continual loot all day and I am really ticked off. Hopefully they fix whatever happened so that we can use our re-rolls before the reset.

I was curious about the bug with Ivus. It seems to be fixed now, but many people exploited it… wondering why it’s not being described or a rollback hasn’t occurred?

Apparently they were able to kill Ivus, log out then back in and kill him again…receiving loot each time. They “earned” far more essences than would have been possible on the first release of this world boss, and while the bug is fixed now… what of a rollback?

Can confirm. Just did it with my friend tonight and we both have the cap of 5 re-roll tokens because we only use them for the monthly world boss. Neither character has killed him prior (we had just went through the quest chain tonight). No option for bonus roll.

We tried to kill him again, still nada.

Well Ivus is back up. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled everything fresh. I got to re-roll once on 2 toons and now I am back to being unable to re-roll on any character. This is so incredibly frustrating! Honestly… Missing out on possible 400 gear for sure 385 is So unfair! My hunter is not a huge deal. I could use the shoulders, but I’ll live. But since they nerfed hunters into the dirt I was trying to gear alts and now I cant even do that properly, like most other people. All I get from my tickets is sorry. One GM actually tried helping with a suggestion but it didn’t work.

Survival is the highest dps spec right now, and Marksmanship is usable a spec opposed to months of it being untouchable

Where do you get that from? I guess Survival is playable but not nearly as good as other melee specs like DK or Monk. Mark blows donkey D and has for some time. Hasn’t been a viable spec since the middle of Legion. BM was decent and is now useless when it comes to PVP.

Ivus worked fine on my shaman but I had to kill him THREE times on my demon hunter to get loot credit / roll window to open just now. It’s Thundering Goliath world quest all over again. I am sick of this.

Bonus roll for Ivus is still and issue for one of my toons. Twice now my pally has been unable to use the Seal of Wartorn Fate. This is beyond annoying. Not only am I missing out on loot I am have also wasted gold. It has nothing to do with the UI as Blizz tries to state in there “help” section. If that was the case all of my toons would have the same issue. Please fix this and credit people accordingly.

Hi, this bug is still happening with Ivus. Some of my characters receive a bonus roll option; others don’t. All of them had a seal.

Have not personally killed Ivus yet this week, but my guildmate just killed him and reported he did not receive an option to bonus roll, despite having two seals.
