At the slightest sense of negativity the general populous has been putting me on ignore for stupid things. The latest of which was me asking “How much did you pay for that TF? :)” in exactly those words. I was then told “YOU DON’T KNOW ME” and put on ignore before I could laugh it off.
Aren’t people wonderful?
BTW, This is a person I’ve spoken to multiple times about random things in the past.

NOTE: See I can make threads that aren’t about bots, Kavothe.
Have people become less forgiving or have people become more sensitive? In my opinion I think people have stayed the same in the regards of saying what is on their mind. I think in general more people are becoming more sensitive to anything that they don’t agree with or that “hurts” their feelings. I have talked about this at work and it feels like in some instances. If you are not going to be offended by this, well *puts on Eminem" this looks like a job for me and I WILL BE OFFENDED FOR YOU!
Is the forums about classic wow the appropriate place to air out ones dirty laundry?
If I was a committed tank and my guild trusted me enough to give me TF. I’d too find it offensive if someone said that I scammed them into give it to me…
Apparently the guy has been having trouble staying with a commited guild so I probably touched a nerve. I know it’s hard to establish sarcasm over text but I was being tounge-in-cheek from the start. Do you see “:)” as being hostile?
Not everyone has the same sense of humor, and text doesn’t always read the same as intended, even when using “:)”.
From my perspective though, a person who puts others on ignore seems to be more likely to be offended by others than someone whose ignore list is empty.
