Nothing would surprise me anymore. I would not be surprised if the OP was a blizzard employee sent to soften us up for some change we're going to hate by "offering" to force something horrible on us, then "giving" us what they planned all along as a "compromise".

This would be terrible for economies. There are gold sinks, this would be a gold black hole.
