tldr;
returning player looking for a solid community
I’m not old. At least it doesn’t feel like it.
But I have been playing World of Warcraft for a long time, off and on, as the title suggests.
Raiding Background
As a Holy Paladin, I started competitively raiding in Wrath of the Lich King (2008). I progressed quickly on the Dark Iron server. I started with the Horde Guild Halcyon Affinity, then eventually moved to the top guild on the server, Rush. When Rush broke up, I created my 10-man guild called Method. I remained competitive despite having a reduced two-night, three-hour raiding schedule.
I continued to raid in Cataclysm regularly, but my career took me away from raiding. I’ve played MoP, WoD, Legion, BoA, Shadowlands, and now Dragonflight, but I have had no true guild, raiding, or community. I played for nastagia mostly.
What I’m Looking For
Thinking back to my WoLK days, I miss the people I played with most. I miss my sense of community and getting on nearly every night to hang out and progress wherever possible. I’m still competitive, but limited time is a reality we all face.
I’m looking for a community to enjoy the game with , whether raiding or PVP. I’m not looking for anything hardcore but something consistent.
