And yet, now that I’ve been doing these dragon-races I’ve noticed I can see really far off in the distance when it used to be blurry. I can see super far off mountain ranges and stuff.
When did this happen? Last week, I couldn’t see Nordrassil from Orgrimmar, now I could see it from Razor Hill. And there’s fog and mist and stuff.
Trust me, I play on a toaster. It has two settings…slightly warm or GPU is blackened charcoal overheated game over man.
They raised the height limits on the sky box. Normally when I fly from Hyjal to Orgrimmar I hit an invisible wall and I’m forced to descend but not anymore. Now you can be insanely high and see for miles just like they did for the Dragon Isles. I approve highly it was so neat to see.
That’s just it, no overheating. No extra fan speed increasing…my usual tell tale sign that I’m doing too much.
I iz confused. It’s like I’m playing a new game. Maybe y’all already have excellent computers, but for me…I’m just blown away. I can SEEEE far away like
A 2019 Asus laptop. 5 is where I’ve been for a long time lol
That’s just it, this new skybox or whatever didn’t take effect until this week. Yes, I’m ultra casual and hadn’t noticed much about DF, but this old world…
So, I’m not crazy. Apparently, I must have missed the forum thread on it…or I just am last to see updates cause I’ve got ancient hardware. Thankfully, Blizz still cares about us laptop toaster users. It’s like a whole new world.
Like that time when D2 went from 640x480 to 800x600
