Before my sub runs out tomorrow, just wanted to say don’t sign up for 6 month subs like a chump. Bad call on my part. Live and learn!

I miss the discounted game time I used to be able to buy for my nieces. Now it’s full price for two months or nuthin’.

Also: I just cancelled my 6 month sub. I’m payed up for a while myself, but that’s the first time since I started playing 15 years ago that I’ve cancelled this game. It feels… weird. :thinking:

I failed horribly. I thought my sub ran out on 4/20, so I canceled on 4/18, but I was being dyslexic and my sub renewed on 4/02 not 4/20. Plus it was on six month recurring. Not I’m paid till 10/02.

It’s ok I’m honestly not to upset. I just stopped doing the things I don’t find fun and been making my own fun. I just stopped doing new content for the most part and I’ve been way happier. The only SL content I’ve been doing is the world boss each week and purple callings. All my other time has been spent in previous expansions and I’m much happier for it. I stopped going to the maw and torghast entirely and I find the game infinitely more fun without those things.

Good on you. My guild and I finally killed M Denathrius last night (Yayy \o/), so even though I still have 17 days left in my sub, technically I’m already free. It’s nice knowing it’s all over, though I wouldn’t be surprised if I still feel like I should be logging in next Tuesday night, kind of like that urge to wake up for school you get for a week or so after the end of the school year.

Unless you’re the type that’ll be around forever, then of course sign up for 6 month subs because it’s cheaper :+1:

Nah. I will do what I wan to do and I am always signed up for 6 months. Sorry you don’t like the game but plenty of us still do.

You should generally avoid paying for services in 6 month increments. You never know what might happen that’ll negate the savings you think you’re getting.

Done with WoW and Shallowlands.

I was playing through Legion with my niece and it was a lot of fun. Played through Cata with my brother and we enjoyed that too.
