Hello, I see you posted a thread about boring aspects of the game. I don’t understand this mentality at all! I find leveling so boring that I can’t even get past level 10!
I agree. I just can’t get into ZM and I normally like world content. I wish they’d bring back the leveling buff just to get through SL levels faster. I still have a bunch of alts in low 50s to do but am more likely to start working on my allied races next.
I have one of every class and spec…and I level them up very slowly, and just chill.
It’s super fun to level and grind on mobs or do a few quests or hang out fishing or making things with professions.
Shadowlands just put in too many RNG mats on top of RNG systems–and made the game too convoluted.
Simplicity is where it’s at. No stress, no mandatory dailies, no mandatory weeklies, no mandatory checklist to follow–just you and whatever expansions you play in and goals you set for yourself.
I think it’s because I started in MoP so it resonates with me the most.
I started ignoring things I don’t like in BfA so while I do get my main to max level fairly quickly I also just putter around a lot more now. Less stress, more fun.
Anyway, I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself. Have a nice day!
Exactly, I love leveling all the way up till shadowlands and then I’m annoyed how the enemies there are scaled. So now I just level to 50 and go back to old content to collect transmogs and do pet battles.
That is all my partner and I are doing now, leveling alts. We will probably do that until WotLK Classic launches…then do that until DF.
I tried as hard as I could to like Shadowlands. I hate to be a Debbie Downer. To be fair, there are definitely things about it we like, but overall…kind of a bust.
Leveling alts is in a really good place right now. Chromie Time and Threads of Fate, while they have their issues, are really great.
