Optioned Unlocked for this week for my Warlock.
- Heroic SoD Loot #1, a 239 haste/mastery dagger for my existing crit/haste 252 sword.
- Heroic SoD Loot #2, a 239 vers/mastery sword for my existing crit/haste 252 sword.
- Normal SoD Loot #3, a 233 vers/mastery bracers for my existing crit/mastery 239 bracers. Both have Dom Sockets.
Okay, what about M+?
- M+ Loot #1, a 252 crit/mastery chestpiece against my existing 239 haste/mastery with a dom socket that’s required for Blood Link.
- M+ Loot #2, a 252 haste/mastery pants with speed against my existing 252 haste/vers pants.
- M+ Loot #3, a 252 crit/haste cape against my existing 252 haste/vers cape with speed.
I simmed my options and my current gear performs better than all the items the vault provided. None of the 6 options are upgrades. I know it doesn’t guarantee an upgrade especially when your character is stacked but man it feels bad if all of your 6 options are pretty much garbage.
I guess I can take the chestpiece for “Ilvl upgrade”?
How about your vaults? Is it any better or worse than mine?

Same Whispering Shard of Power for the 5th week in a row.
Somewhere in a different universe, this toon has a full set of Dom gear after not relying on the vault for luck.
The cloak in the vault was a 0.08% upgrade over my current cloak.
My vault is empty, as it has always been.

having not looked yet, i’m going to say that all of my options will be some flavor of crit/mastery hat. will report back with results
edit: got a 252 stitchflesh’s misplaced signet, which replaced a 226 signet. i guess it works
Vault is just a stepping stone towards Mythic Raiding which carries the best loot of the game. The Vault is not Mythic Raiding.
Go do Mythic Raiding if you want upgrades. You are capable. You just dont do it.
My Warlock’s shoes and one of my Druid’s rings got direct upgrades from Normal to Heroic. That was good.
My Hunter got the 226 Domination Socket Helm. Which replaced a blue ilvl 200 piece. So that was huge.
I keep getting pants AFTER I crafted legendaries. There are 14 other slots, stop giving me the same stuff
Last week I was too busy with comp stomp. I farmed about 55k honor and made about 410 mark of honor for those sweet transmog.
So no vault! But this week with the dungeon bonus that’ll be fun to do!
Got one of the trinkets i wanted so i’m happy.
Got a 239 fist weapon from SoD on my rogue. The one that adds a bleed. Now idk if I should go combat since both my combat weapons are better than my assassination weps now.
My DH got a belt, but beyond that… yeah disappointing. Still need to upgrade my scale.
I’ve not done anything for a mythic cache back when it started, didn’t do anything for the great vault… maan do I suck.

Got a 15 SoA bow just wondering if it will be made meaningless immediately this week with a leggo bow or if I’m gonna be holding it for a good long time lol either way its a big upgrade and I’m happy.
