Honestly I agree with this, there should be no reason there are other classes âunderperformingâ in regards to damage or healing, that just makes everyone feel unviable if theres constant nerfs. I do find Ret insane with its damage but honestly it can be countered, and hpals are fine where they are as someone who mains one.
If they got reworked in different ways so there wasnât so many immunities and simply other ways of being a good healer id be fine with this also.

What, exactly is the nature of your complaint, OP, aside from the spec being popular? You canât kill one easily enough in PvP? I weep for you. Now where did I put that violin. Itâs so tiny that I misplace it constantlyâŚ
If Prot is popular, maybe itâs because itâs one of the few specs in the game that isnât entirely hot garbage? They donât have any particular niche that they excel at, theyâre just decent all around.
It probably doesnât hurt that itâs an accessible spec to play. Some people just like playing their paladins, but arenât happy with the current state of Holy or Ret, so they gave Prot a whirl rather than shelving them.

Coming from a DH? Anytime I switch to my Pally I end up hating it so much I can barely force myself to level him to 100. Then I switch back on this toon and decimate everything without any effort. I died on my 97 Pally while fighting two mobs in MoP with all CDs down from the last fight. I can take on 3-4 elites along with 6-10 normal mobs on this toon and stay above 100k at all times.
This thread could sound serious if coming from any other class, but DH players have nothing to complain about.

I have to say that I did switch from ret to prot for leveling and enjoying it a lot more now. I can actually take on several mobs at once and feel like a paladin again rather than hitting things with my wet noodle as ret. Plus itâs not near as boring to play as ret.

No it is not⌠Paladins are too OP in Dungeons and have too much mobility in terms of spells and stuff to save them from death⌠Also Ret is OP as well⌠and overall their bubble needs nerfingâŚ
Every time I tried to kill a paladin other then on my DH I get curb stomped pretty fastâŚ
To all the paladins in this thread I know what your attempting to do your making it seems as if your class is weak as a whole that is simply not true. You just dont want Nerf Bat you avoided for so long.

We might as well take stealth away from a Rogue. Divine Shield is a staple of the paladin toolkit.
If itâs bugging you just play a mage a spellsteal it.
