It’s been 8-9 weeks. No it’s not. They never will be. Items of power have never been account wide. Stop being lazy. It takes a week to farm every rk1 essence. You can even get rk2 essences in under a week.

Yup it needs to happen add a vendor for the people that want and for the certain kiddos in these threads that want to keep earning it can go ahead and earn it boom problem solved

A couple, I have a rank 4 on a alt as well…
But for me, if had acccount wide rank 3’s on alt would I play them more or less. And the answer is probably not. So is it important? No.
I would probably feel pressured to complete the pvp essence knowing that all my alts would get the benefit. I have a dozen or so rank 3’s now but the pvp essences are bis for raiding… sigh.

If this suggestion were implemented I would be more motivated to ‘collect them all’ and get all the tank/dps essences my characters need.
I’m already working on the second character and at r2 now so really i’m happy either way.
Is that an alt? Becuase otherwise I’d be hilariously ironic to be calling people lazy with a 62 neck.

It really doesn’t take much time a day to work on three of the essences- the two reps and the follower. 30 minutes per alt max and a lot of days I spend closer to 20 minutes. Just do the one main mechagon quest each day and then your follower in Nazjatar and I usually pick up the puzzle quests as well since I like those. Then do the Nazjatar emissary when it is up, it isn’t hard to get exalted.
The mythic one is 30-40 minutes for a R2 and the islands ones 40 minutes per week for a few weeks.
It isn’t as bad as people are making out.
It is when there are infinite other games and other more enjoying things to do with your time than to do the same boring world quests/grind just so you can do the same content in raid.
I concede that apparently there are people out there than enjoying this - just apparently not me, my guildies or my friends who jumped ship to classic.
This isn’t a good reason to make these account wide, i.e. because you want to play other games so you just want to skip what you don’t like in this one.
This is my main. I play 1 day a week. I have no alts. Not sure what you are trying to get at.
Yeah imagine wanting to skip the unfun parts of content so I can proceed to have fun.

Imagine wanting blizzard to ruin the game for other players just so you could have time to go and play other games as well.
Sorry, what about making people do the grind once and not for every character is considered ruining it for players?
Either way feel free to bookmark this when they eventually make it account bound. They have the statistics and I’m sure can see the drop-off of alts being played.

They won’t make it account wide. They probably will make it easier but there is no way they are going to let thousands of people earn them on numerous alts and then let people like you just do it once.
And haven’t you been paying attention ? Some people like earning them on each character making this account wide would ruin that for others.
