There just isn’t anything here for me anymore. The game has devolved from a MMO into simply a dungeon crawler. If you’re not into mythic+ and raiding there really isn’t anything to hold your attention enough to warrant $15 a month.
I’m actually sad because I love WoW. The lore and world are incredible with some of the most memorable characters in any gaming franchise. The future of the game has been going in a direction that doesn’t include me. I wish you all the best of luck.
don’t uninstall because you will have to install it again, 70gb download plus addons and WTF files . you do know that you can unsub and still have the game installed
I wish you the best with whatever you end up doing.
To me it’s pretty easy to justify $15. That’s a book that takes just a few days to read, or going to a movie theater, or one cheaper dining experience.
If I can get a few hours a month out of WoW it matches the cost of other forms of entertainment.
To be honest, I suggest still engaging in WoW related things. If your like writing, maybe write your character’s story or do some D&D WoW campaign like I’ve been trying to do. It doesn’t have to be left behind, rather, you can still contribute to the world and lose yourself in the lore and world anytime.
Goodbye Haliela. I will miss you and all the times we grouped up to do dungeons and quests. I’ll miss our long conversations on the forum that drifted late into the night. Take care of yourself. I don’t know how I will go on without you though.
Wishing you the best onto your next adventures. If you change your mind, Azeroth is still here for you
For me, my heart is no longer in it. Yet it’s my favorite game (still) so I keep logging on and putter around a bit. Like someone else said, I can justify the subscription because it does bring me some hours of entertainment, even if it’s no longer feeling the same.
