Ion mentions faction identity is so very important. Yeah, if you PVP you would know that it’s not important enough to justify 45 minutes queue for Horde and 90% losing rate for Alliance.
Dude just let same faction battles in random bgs holy jesus it’s horrible. Alliance loses 90% of the time, and the worse part is they don’t even try. They are so used to losing that they just want it to end, get honor and requeue instantly into another game. Afk, lose, get honor with the 50% bonus, lose, requeue like what the hell is this???

They just need to allow cross faction play. Make it not matter who you play anymore.

45 minute queue times? 
Sounds like a massive exaggeration. Last time I had one of those was late-Legion/early-BFA.
And they already allow cross-faction PvP, it’s just that Alliance doesn’t have access to the feature.
We been asking for that for 16 years. Who knew splitting the player base in half in a game constantly bleeding subs was a bad idea?

Part of me wants it, but I feel like it’s gonna remove a layer from the game. Like now playing an opposite faction alt is like a new PvP content. Different win-lose ratio, different map positions, queue times etc.
But then again if factions are merged then you eliminate queues, and faction gaps. It’s all gonna converge to 50% win rate, and you get twice as much variety from the same maps.
It’s flavor vs practicality at this point. I feel like they should do a test run for like a month or so. See how it goes.
