Fortunately… it’s Skyrim.
Like everything in Skyrim there’s Mods that fix that.
WoW will likely never have romance options like single-player RPG’s… but at least thanks to Skyrim and mods I get to marry Vampire-Jaina and run a little bed and breakfast on the road between Falkreath and Riverwood.
idk, it feels wrong to me when the character is like “I dont want to get married” and you’re like “hehe just wait till I get inside your brain and rewrite your thoughts and force you to marry me”

There are mods that literally restructure the entire game into happyland teddy bears and rainbows and sunshine with pony characters and Thomas the Train dragons.
That’s just a moddable game for ya. 
They allow for a huge degree of freedom you can’t get otherwise- there are just certain things you CANNOT do without mods.

I find that fascinating. Because the storyline heavily implies Serana is romantically interested in you, just characterwise she’s too scared to commit.
And it’s understandable. Elderscrolls Lore is a bit dark. The process of becoming a Daughter of Coldharbour is… unpleasant. Molag Bal “The Lord of Domination.”
Blizzard wouldn’t know romance if it hit them upside the head.
I wouldn’t trust them to write a trashy novel, much less an actual engaging in game romance.
