And I disagree because they are both challenges that had rewards removed from being earned in game. It also opens the door for then people to argue “well if you let the MOP stuff be unlocked for all characters why not the MT” and then, we get into the same argument that they should. When you arbitrarily draw distinctions like that it really does never end, and I know I have seen you not want MT appearances unlocked again.
…also honestly if we want to talk about knowing spec to play…we really didn’t on some. I learned how to play unholy and feral on the imp mother and both were beaten in 5 attempts purely because I could get a potion that increased damage by 10%, use an heirloom that did too, and got zone buffs pulled down into the challenge as well and those fireballs would nuke stuff for me. Not much of a class/spec challenge there. Still don’t see the point in the argument that we should base if we unlock something based on how hard the challenge was or if we had others at the challenge or not.
It still is boiled down to the very essence a challenge that was only available during an expansion and was said was going away at the next expac drop and gave valued cosmetics for your class you did them on at the time.
and then the same argument then can be made
People didn’t have to level alts for WoD so they shouldn’t have to level for Legion either.
The argument sets just an arbitrary line that one challenge is different because of arbitrary reasons. That is all.
Do timewalking challenge modes.
Use alternative tints.

This makes no sense. There were no CM dungeons in Legion.

So people who did the work, so what boosters? how do you filter out boosted from non boosted people who paid didnt put in work as being auto pilot in a boost isn’t work its just free.

BUT the MT was a CHALLENGE for your character to unlock a appearance that went away with the expansion drop. Again, because it was group or solo is an arbitrary line to make.
This yes. This absolutely yes, like they did with the MT, except they didn’t give wep appearances.

if I am not a melee class, why should I have been able to unlock the melee transmogs from WOD CMs as a caster? philosophy changes with expansions.
there was hardly work for the set, it forced people to play alts that they either may not have liked or werent comfortable with.

Nope. You deserve zero time or respect after what you pulled. Solo challenge is not group dungeon, all they want is unlocks the same as Warlords unlocks. Period. Done. Good riddance to you.
I had fun doing it. So did most people I know. Now we do the same thing with pvp and collect all the elite sets, which is also super neato. I hope they do dungeon sets again.
Because they corrected the problem of having to level multiple classes in WoD with CM tokens. The OP is just asking for the same thing.
Also, CM was never an individual achievement, it was a group achievement. It didn’t matter what tank, healer or 3 dps you ran with.

It’s not the same thing. Many weapon types are shared across classes…
Makes, locks, priests, rogues all use daggers.
Wars, dks, pallys, druids, use pole arms.
Etc etc.

and thats good on you for doing so. not every one has or had the time for 11 classes keeping them up and doing CMs. boosting on these was rampant as it is.
I had fun doing them but I wouldn’t do them more than once, I don’t like healing I can do it but I don’t like it, tanking alone is enough to put me off. but everyone is different.
